Film Study: 2027 Section 5 QB’s

For this series we will be looking at 5 players in each position throughout the next three cycles. The James Monroe prospect has created a deadly duo with 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='505856' first='Messiah' last='Hampton'].</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Last Season, he tossed over twenty touchdowns and accumulated over 2,000 yards, solidifying his status as a top 2027 prospect. Cunningham has a cannon arm and can launch the ball a good 50+ yards. He has a good feel in the pocket and displays good IQ while reading defenses. His accuracy is on point and he rarely makes bad throws. To add to his impressive film, he can also lineup as a Safety where he displays solid tape.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Cunningham is an outstanding prospect who Is easily the top QB in Section 5. The Hilton prospect also plays basketball which translates as he finds his targets with ease. He has outstanding ball placement, allowing only his targets to grab each ball. He has an outstanding arm and can easily launch the ball down the field.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Section Five Signal Caller is an outstanding athlete, who easily throws one of the prettiest deep balls in the state. He leads his receivers away from the defense, making catches easier for his team. He stands tall in the pocket, and keeps his eyes downfield while feeling the pressure to create gains for the McQuaid offense.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>With limited film on Vander Wal, this report is an early projection of the traits shown and how he can develop them.
