Carter had a really good season in 2024 for Groves, and has paired that with a productive offseason. He was even able to acquire a couple of offers in recent weeks. He's an instinctual linebacker with the speed, strength and tackling ability that is hard to find! He scrapes down the line and is able to shed blockers to make plays at the point of attack. Carter is able to play sideline to sideline or stuff things in the middle, and even cover the pass with relative ease. I think he's in a great spot to be a breakout star of this season.

Grayson missed out on a significant amount of time last season due to Mono. Watching his tape, I can absolutely see the potential breakout player in him. He uses his hands extremely well. He keeps the offensive lineman out of his chest and is able to rip free to get into the backfield, or get his hands up to swat down passes at the line, making life extremely difficult for the quarterback. He has a great drive and motor, and he's able to pair that with a few solid moves that seem to work for him fairly consistently. Even against some of the toughest foes on the schedule, Grayson seemed to perform well and make his presence felt. If he has put in the work this offseason, Fuller could be a

When you're looking for guys with motor and aggression, you think of players like Carter. He was raw last season, but he put a ton on film to like. He's strong, physical, aggressive and has the non-stop drive to be an impact player for 4 quarters. Grandville plays a tough schedule year in and year out, and it looks like Carter wasn't slowed down by any of those tough programs on the schedule. There's no way he doesn't have some offers trickle in over the coming months, and I am predicting a pretty big year for Demario'n.

I really like what [player_tooltip player_id='1143987' first='Brody' last='Lehman'] offers as a defensive back. For one, his versatility is intriguing. Both through the air and in the run game, Brody impacts the play. In the passing game, he has solid closing speed, knows how to get in front of the receiver and jump the pass. Lehman never gives up, playing the ball through the hands of the receiver all the way to the ground. In the run game, he has multiple examples of coming up to set the edge and make some tough plays, typically taking on blockers and creating havoc at the point of attack. Even in the open field, Brody breaks down and stays square, and then goes in for the tackle. I wouldn't be stunned at all if he has a monster season in 2025.

I have always been high on [player_tooltip player_id='917316' first='Preston' last='Willert'], and I am shocked that he hasn't been getting the shine he should have. He has been getting the job done at MLB for a solid Gladwin program for a few years now. He has good size, he's physical and plays like a madman. Even when he plays on offense, he seeks out contact and loves to run people over. Defensively, he has good reaction time, flies to the spot and typically lays a big time hit. More often than not, he is shooting the gap before the play gets going and the blocking has time to take shape. Willert is truly a star at stuffing that inside run. Though Gladwin isn't at the highest of highs like they were a couple of seasons ago, they are still a very well run and well coached program with guys like Preston all over the roster. You absolutely will not be able to ignore him this fall.
