I have always been high on Preston Willert Preston Willert 5'11" | 190 lbs | LB/RB Gladwin | 2026 State MI , and I am shocked that he hasn’t been getting the shine he should have. He has been getting the job done at MLB for a solid Gladwin program for a few years now. He has good size, he’s physical and plays like a madman. Even when he plays on offense, he seeks out contact and loves to run people over. Defensively, he has good reaction time, flies to the spot and typically lays a big time hit. More often than not, he is shooting the gap before the play gets going and the blocking has time to take shape. Willert is truly a star at stuffing that inside run. Though Gladwin isn’t at the highest of highs like they were a couple of seasons ago, they are still a very well run and well coached program with guys like Preston all over the roster. You absolutely will not be able to ignore him this fall.
