Collins Hill 8th Grade Shows Grit in Comeback Win over Grayson

<p>The future looks bright for the Collins Hill football program, and their 8th grade squad wasted no time proving it. In their Week 1 opener, the Eagles defended their crown with a thrilling comeback victory over the Grayson Rams, rallying from a 30–14 deficit to secure a statement win.</p>

<p>The field was filled with talent on both sides, but Collins Hill's playmakers rose to the occasion when it mattered most. Leading the charge was <strong>Daniel Cooper</strong>, a powerful running back whose size and strength made him nearly impossible to bring down. Cooper's relentless running kept the Eagles in striking distance and wore down the Rams' defense.</p>

<p>On the perimeter, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1703939' first='Tristan' last='Hargrove']</strong> showcased his versatility as a tall, physical athlete making plays at both wide receiver and defensive back. <p>The recipient of that throw was none other than <strong>Bryce Abbott</strong>, a smooth operator with blazing speed and an undeniable toughness. Abbott's grit and ability to deliver in the clutch made him the perfect finisher to Collins Hill's comeback story.</p>

<p>Quarterback <strong>Remel</strong> Davis also impressed, flashing tremendous potential as the leader of the offense. His composure under pressure and ability to spread the ball around give the Eagles yet another weapon to build around.</p>
