6A EAST: Teams Breakout Candidate

<p>August has arrived, which means high school football will start in a few weeks. This report will cover the potential breakout candidates for each team in 2025.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Benton:</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='809619' first='Antonio' last='Shelton II'] is a name to remember. He has been putting in the work the past few seasons, and it will be on display his senior season. Shelton showcases the ability to stack and shed to make plays in space and at the LOS. He displays solid initial quickness into his base blocks and pass sets. Walters utilizes solid hand placement and hand strength to control and drive. He's athletic and fluid as he can get into space. He's quick off the snap with solid hand level and hand placement to read and shed quickly. He's a prospect to add to the recruiting board. He's a high-motor linebacker who can cover sideline-to-sideline with his motor. I expect that trajectory to continue, and he showcase his talents during his senior season. Myers generates solid torque through the hips to attack the deep levels of the field. He displays solid footwork in the pocket, coupled with the mobility and awareness to evade pressure and keep his eyes downfield. He is a willing pocket passer who can stand in the pocket and execute accurate throws while taking hits. He is explosive off the edge and can dominate in the interior due to his strong lower body. He displays solid footwork and overall technique when in man coverage.
