North Branch remains committed to playing power football. Starting tight end Jacob Knoespel is at the center of the Vikings' scheme. A physical and technically sound blocker, Knoespel is trusted to set the edge and anchor blocking schemes. His football IQ shows when making on-field adjustments. Knoespel communicates naturally with the offensive line. He's also a capable receiver with reliable hands, giving the Vikings an additional weapon in the passing game.

In the backfield, Logan Hammel will transition from tight end to running back. At 6'4” with a strong frame and fluid athleticism, Hamel brings a unique combination of size and speed to the position. His blocking experience translates well to North Branch's physical schemes, and he has the potential to be both a power runner between the tackles and a weapon in space.

Hammel is their defensive leader entering his third year starting at outside linebacker. His size, instincts, and edge-setting ability make him a strong force against the run, and his leadership ensures defensive calls and adjustments are communicated effectively. In certain packages, Hammel can drop back to safety, where his range and tackling allow him to provide support in coverage while still being a threat downhill.

Knoespel brings a big frame to the defensive front and uses his leverage well. He consistently puts himself in good positions and is athletic enough to get his nose in the action, whether it's holding the point of attack or chasing down plays.
