We released our updated 2027 rankings on Tuesday. Here are 8 of the Top New Additions. Welcome Aboard!

[player_tooltip player_id='1787344' first='Justin' last='Degroat'], Farmington: Degroat is expected to be one of Farmington's primary running backs in 2025 after gaining valuable varsity experience last season. Good size at 5-foot-10, 195 pounds.

[player_tooltip player_id='1788731' first='David' last='Fresquez'], Roswell: Fresquez has such a promising future at cornerback for the Coyotes that the Roswell coaching staff is moving a senior to safety to make room for him on the boundary.

[player_tooltip player_id='1790963' first='Paul' last='Garcia'], Santa Teresa: The 6-foot-1, 310-pound Garcia brings great size and mobility to the Desert Warriors offensive line. He could be the only non-senior starting. And he plays center, so he'll have a major impact all season long.

[player_tooltip player_id='1790866' first='Xavier' last='Giron'], St. Pius X: The 6-foot-1, 245-pound Giron is a promising newcomer to St. Pius X's potentially solid offensive line. The Sartans' offensive skill position players attract a lot of attention but the O-Line should be very good as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='1790913' first='Aidan' last='Lopez'], Capital: The 6-foot-2, 275-pound Lopez started as a sophomore for the Jaguars last season and he returns to anchor what the coaching staff hops will be an improved offensive line.

[player_tooltip player_id='1787868' first='Xavier' last='Lucero'], Bernalillo: Lucero will likely start at left tackle for what could be a massive Spartans offensive line. Two other projected starters currently weight 270 and 380 pounds.

[player_tooltip player_id='1790832' first='Jose' last='Porras'], Goddard: Porras is a four-sport standout for the Rockets. He played slot receiver for Goddard last season and earned Honorable Mention All-State honors. Porras will likely be Goddard's No. 2 receiver in 2025.

[player_tooltip player_id='1787069' first='Giovanni' last='Tarin'], Gadsden: Tarin is expected to be one of Gadsden's leaders in the new look secondary after gaining experience as a sophomore in 2024. The Panthers' secondary lost multiple starters to graduation.

[player_tooltip player_id='1787112' first='Paulo' last='Velasquez'], Las Cruces: The 6-foot-2, 320-pound Velasquez brings massive size to the Bulldawgs' offensive line. He will likely earn one of the two starting spots up for grabs during preseason camp.

[player_tooltip player_id='1787208' first='Wa'Qari' last='Walker'], Atrisco Heritage: The 235-pound Walker should be a two-way standout in the trenches for the Jaguars in 2025. He was solid on defense as a sophomore last season with 27 tackles and 6 QB hurries. He'll be one of the headliners on Atrisco's D-Line in 2025.
