UW-Stout Prospect Camp: Top Offensive Performers

A gloomy afternoon in Menomonie turned into a rainy downpour that forced the second half of the UW-Stout Prospect Camp indoors. But before the weather moved in, the Stout coaching staff led nearly 75 prospects through a structured camp experience at Williams Stadium on the UW-Stout campus. With summer camps in full swing by late June, several attendees had already made appearances at events, such as the <a href="https://prepredzone.com/2025/06/uw-river-falls-mega-camp-26-offensive-skill-standouts-part-1/">UW-River Falls Mega Camp</a>. At Stout, prospects cycled through individual position drills, one-on-one situations, and hands-on coaching focused on technique and fundamentals.   Here are the top offensive performers:    Fitzgerald, a senior at Champlin Park, shows smooth footwork and consistently pushes vertically out of each route. He varied his releases effectively and routinely sold vertically before snapping inside or out. At the catch point, he remained fundamentally sound and made multiple standout plays during one-on-ones. Fitzgerald's length helps him win hand battles and high-point passes. He is a competitive prospect with clear playmaking upside.     Rajaofera, a junior at Thorp High School and Class of 2027, immediately sells his release by firing off the line of scrimmage and attacking leverage to disrupt defensive backs. He showed excellent route timing, notably converting a smooth double move into a touchdown during one-on-ones. With confident hands and the speed to consistently win deep, he poses a tough matchup in space. He bursts both with and without the ball, fitting seamlessly into a pass-first or spread-style offense.     Kressin, a senior at Ellsworth, stood out all day. He consistently controlled matchups in run-based one-on-ones. His quick, balanced footwork secures inside or outside positioning, and he maintains leverage throughout the play. His agility in those reps carried over into pass protection, where his feet remained active and he kept a clean pocket. Kressin's combination of strength, technical footwork, and consistent control at the point of attack makes him an anchor up front.     Mayorga stood out during combo blocks. He's a team player upfront with a decisive first step. He proves quickly because he understands angles. Mayorga, a senior at Brookfield Academy, makes campers pay for overleveraging. He has the power to toss smaller defenders aside or take them to the ground.     Bamba, a senior at Horace High School (ND) excelled in pass-blocking thanks to a strong base and powerful hands. In run-blocking situations, his raw strength allowed him to influence defenders and maintain leverage. This combination of technique and power highlights his potential interior linemen, who can strike first at the point of attack.     Galvan, a senior at East Ridge, consistently demonstrated clean angle first steps and controlled duck walk mechanics. He is nimble and quick for an interior blocker. That same footwork served him well in pass‑setting drills, where he held his line with balance and precision. His technique showed poise under pressure, giving him an edge as a center capable of maintaining a firm anchor and redirecting defenders effectively.     Zahrte effectively connected with a group of unfamiliar receivers and demonstrated synchronized timing between his footwork and arm to deliver on-time passes. He showed a powerful base, enabling him to throw deep with ease, and also displayed. He projects as a confident runner, offering a threat in short-yardage situations. His mechanics—timing, posture, and drive from his legs—translate well to pushing the ball downfield. Overall, Zahrte is a dual-threat QB with physical tools.     Eklund showed confidence in his ability to change direction and accelerate to top speed, consistently winning through crisp route breaks and separation in one‑on‑one drills. His hands were consistent, and he communicated well with coaching. Eklund caught my attention taking reps as a defensive back as well. He showed solid instincts, reading passes well, breaking quickly, and even forcing an interception. Eklund's competitiveness and versatility make him a notable prospect on both sides of the ball.
