Qs! The Ultimae Middle School Showcase was a phenomenal camp for the best young QBs in Michigan. I got an excellent look at four Class of 2029 QBs and one Class of 2030 QB. Here's who stood out to me the most.

As advertised.

I'm happy to report that Lincoln is pretty much everything I expected him to be. Size is legit. 6'3" 200 seems just about right. Lincoln is a major outlier when it comes to height and frame. He's got the frame of a Mike linebacker and the height to succeed at practically any position.

Lincoln has an arm as well! I'm extremely impressed with how Lincoln launches the football with ease.
As for accuracy, it was a mixed bag. If Lincoln's feet were set and the target was stationary, the ball was always right on the money. Accuracy dipped a little during 1on1s, and it dipped significantly whenever Lincoln was on the move. I also noticed Lincoln's mechanics become much more inconsistent when on the move.

He's got all the tools to be an elite Quarterback. If Lincoln hits the weight room hard throughout high school, he'll be an absolute monster by his senior season. Likewise, if he keeps working on his mechanics, IQ, and generally keeps his process consistent, he'll be playing Power 4 football in college.

Ethan was an excellent surprise. Credit to Ethan and his family for spending their Sunday traveling from St. Joseph to Fenton.

Simply put, Ethan's arm was superior to most QBs. Ethan's consistent, quick throwing motion allowed him to zip the ball to the target. All throws had a fair amount of zip and were generally accurate. Again, Ethan's throwing motion/mechanics really make his game. A consistent throwing motion allows for consistent accuracy.

Ethan's on track to be a great Varsity QB. Excited for him to eventually be QB1 on St. Joseph, who is always a dark horse State Championship contender.

I was told that Vincent is QB1 for Port Huron Northern's Varsity squad this season. Not bad for a freshman!

Skill matches. Some of the best zip of any QB, consistent throwing motion, and mechanics didn't dip when on the move. Way ahead of the curve compared to other QBs in his class. Considering that he'll be playing Varsity ball this season, Vincent's development should accelerate through the next year. Super interested to see how he fares against he big boys.

In short, Tristan was a solid, accurate QB. Mechanics and all-around throw power were a step behind the best of this group, but still undoubtedly above-average. I will say, Tristan was impressively accurate, especially considering his minor shortcomings regarding mechanics and throw power.

Absolutely on track to be an excellent Varsity player. Keep on workin'!

Yup. We've got two St. Joseph QBs who're projecting extremely well.

Currently at Upton Middle School, Leonardo has a whole year until he's playing high school ball. Right now, he's far ahead of the curve regarding mechanics, throw power, and accuracy. Not anything mind-blowing, not a college prospect just yet, but absolutely on track.

Keep on this trajectory, and Leonardo will one day be a college prospect.
