Rising Recruits- Prospects Generating College Buzz This Summer

We cover so many talented recruits here in Alabama that sometimes we miss news on some of our state's rising prospects.   Today, we're going back and looking at some different recruits who've started to see their names get out there at the next level!   You won't want to miss this group of talent-be sure to watch their film below!    [player_tooltip player_id='1707161' first='Keon' last='Palmore'] is a talented nickel/safety out of Pike Road who's been seeing his recruitment pick up.   "[player_tooltip player_id='1707161' first='Keon' last='Palmore'] is an extremely versatile DB who can make huge plays out in coverage and provide great run support. Palmore is a high-IQ defender who's incredibly quick to adjust to offenses- he's constantly flying around the field to attack the ball and make impressive plays in pursuit.   I'm most impressed with Palmore's skills in coverage. He has great ball skills, timing, and hands he uses to make plays on the ball. Additionally, Palmore provides a ton of security over the top. He doesn't get beat downfield easily and is constantly in great position to prevent QBs from trying to throw the ball to his side of the field."   Earlier this summer, Palmore picked up his first offer from Alabama A&M! With his talent, I'm sure more will be heading his way soon- he's got a big season ahead of him.   Check out some of Palmore's film below:      [player_tooltip player_id='1707166' first='Bryson' last='Brooks'] is another talented defender out of Pike Road who's been gaining momentum in the recruiting world.   "It's hard to believe Brooks is only a sophomore. At 6'3 280, he has the size, speed, and power to be a dominant DL on Pike Road's defensive front. I'm really impressed by his ability to play the run; he can consistently blow up the line of scrimmage and take down the ball carrier for little gain or loss.   I really think Brooks is set up for a MASSIVE junior season. He has all the tools to be a dominant force in the 6A- it's going to be exciting watching him and the rest of Pike Road's defense this fall."   A few weeks back, Brooks picked up his first offer from South Alabama! With how well Brooks has played as an underclassman, this will be the first of many more to come- just watch.   Make sure you watch some of Brooks' tape below:      [player_tooltip player_id='1707170' first='JD' last='McKenzie-Rivers'] is a talented ATH out of Tallassee who's put himself on the map this week.   "Rivers is a highly instinctual DB who thrives on his ability to quickly read and react to opposing offenses' plays. Rivers flies to the ball almost every snap- he has great sideline-to-sideline speed, impressive ball skills in coverage, and a willingness to play the run that make him a DB you always want to avoid.   Rivers also can make some seriously impressive plays with the ball in his hands. He's a valuable restorer on special teams who uses his vision and athleticism to frequently put the ball in great starting field position for his offense- it's super impressive to watch."   Earlier this week, Rivers picked up his first two offers from Southern Miss and North Alabama! It'll only be a matter of time before more schools start calling- he's a seriously talented prospect.   Watch some of his tape below, you'll see what I mean:      [player_tooltip player_id='1707174' first='Anthony' last='Hayes'] is a dominant DL making his debut at Jackson this fall where he's set up for a massive year.   Hayes is a dominant run defender upfront who finds ways into the backfield to create tackles for loss almost every snap. He's explosive off the LOS, plays with great leverage, speed, and power, and can fly by blockers to wrap up the ballcarrier for little to no gain.   Hayes can also produce at a high level as a pass rusher- his closing speed is absurd and frequently allows him to pursue and take down the quarterback for huge sacks behind the line of scrimmage. What shocked me most with Hayes' tape was watching how hard he delivers hits- offenses, be warned, this is not a guy you want to meet face to face.   In the last few weeks, Hayes has picked up offers from North Alabama and Huntingdon College! Make sure you look out for him this fall, I think he's going to have a huge senior season on their front.   In the meantime, check out some of his film below:      [player_tooltip player_id='401091' first='Cruz' last='Lee'] is a talented EDGE out of Northridge who's starting to make moves in the recruiting world.   "At 6'5 200, Lee has terrific size and athleticism and can completely overwhelm opposing OL in the trenches almost every down. Lee is quick off the snap, has a wide variety of pass rush moves, and can work his way into the backfield to consistently generate pressure and place big hits on the quarterback.   Lee is just as dominant against the run. He's great in pursuit and frequently wraps up the ball carrier behind the line of scrimmage for some huge stops for loss."   A few weeks back, Lee picked up an offer from South Alabama! With what he can do, I'm sure this won't be the last- Lee is a talented defender with a ton to offer at the next level.
