He gets off the ball quickly and has good technique. I like his patience, how he fires off his stance, but also shows patience to read the play. When he sees the play, though, he has the speed and athleticism to chase it down. Like when it is a pass play, he knows I need to go to the quarterback. Volomino has a good chance to get recruited to play college football after another stellar senior season. He helped spring a 2,000-yard rusher in [player_tooltip player_id='1555556' first='Tyler' last='Eber']. He did an excellent job as a run blocker, with his ability to fire off the ball and block defensive linemen. He has good strength, as defenders rarely cause him trouble inside with his blocking ability. His ability to turn and drive defenders is excellent, as it helps to create a good running lane inside. He has excellent instincts and fundamentals. I especially like how he reads his keys and triggers upfield against the offense. He makes a ton of tackles between the tackles in the run game. He makes plenty of tackles in or near the line of scrimmage. The other part of his game is that he is a good tackler. He rarely ever misses a tackle. Villa should have a good chance at playing college football in the future, and he picked up an offer from Allegheny. He has good strength as he does a good job of driving defenders off the ball. He is excellent on combo blockers as he fires off the ball and blocks defensive linemen off the ball and then peels off to block linebackers. He also shows good athleticism by pulling and blocking in front on run plays. He rushed for an eye-popping 2,677 and 34 touchdowns. Those are insane rushing numbers, and you do not do that unless you are a good running back. Eber's shows good quickness and burst when he hits the hole, but the biggest area he is excellent at is his vision and patience. He does a good job of waiting for the hole to open, then he has the burst to fire through the hole. He also shows good strength as he is able to run through tackles at a high level. Finally, Eber has legit speed, and once he gets into the open field, he is off to the races. He played all over the field last year. His ability to play back as a free safety for one play and then come upfield and play as an outside linebacker for the next play is impressive. At both positions, he did a great job of reading the play and then making the right read to help stop the offensive play. He is also a ball hawk as he is able to chase plays all over the field and intercept passes or knock them down. Eggerton is a highly rated defender who is a difference maker as well. He has excellent coverage skills as he is able to drop in zone well and take away passing lanes. He also has good ball skills as he gets his hands on balls thrown near him well, as he had 4 interceptions last year. The other area he excels at is his ability to make tackles in the open field. He shows excellent instincts as he reads plays well and attacks upfield against offenses well. Forte also shows a good ability to make tackles in the open field. He gets off the ball quicker than most defensive linemen as he has a quick 1st step off the ball. He has one of the best swim moves I have seen from a defensive lineman in a while. His ability to fire upfield, then use a swim move on offensive linemen, is excellent. He also has a motor that never quits as he chases and plays all over the field.
