Starting as a freshman at nose guard, Badon thrived against AAA competition. He totaled over 60 tackles and double-digit tackles for loss. With a squat of 520 pounds and a 315-pound bench press, his strength is impeccable . If he continues to grow, he has the potential to be a high-level recruit. Powerful, skilled, and relentless—Badon is a must see player in the trenches and will be one of the top players in the state in the class of 2028.

One of the top players for the Eagles and a pivotal part of last year's championship run, he formed an excellent duo with Cosmo D'Amelio (AA-1 Defensive Player of the Year). He'll look to fill those shoes and make tons of plays this year. He's a great tackler and is more athletic than he looks. Gnerre has had a great offseason so far. He will also look to make plays on both sides of the ball, as he could make an impact at running back.

Damato started every game at safety as a sophomore and had a tremendous year. He's now the quarterback of the secondary this season. A national-level track athlete, D'Amato brings elite speed and possesses excellent instincts. He has a strong nose for the football and a knack for open-field tackling. He's a consistent playmaker and a calming presence on the back end for St. Peter's.

he first word that comes to mind right away is versatility. Kicking, receiving and potentially defense Coppolla does it all. He's a skilled receiver with elite footwork, crisp route running and the ability to make tough catches in traffic. He has a ton of toughness and grit in his game as he could be a contributor in the secondary this season. As a kicker, he delivered a game-winner against Stepinac. With his strong leg, Coppolla has real college kicking potential.

Last season Riccardi was excellent for St Peter's on the line. He may be the only full-time two-way starter on the team this season. As a left tackle, he brings good size, technique, and quickness. He was a huge reason why St Peter's had another monster season running the ball despite the lack of experience up front. On defense, he's an active pass rusher with a relentless motor. He saw plenty of reps at defensive line last season and will be a key presence on both units.

After competing for reps as a sophomore, D'Acunto is poised to take command of the offense. He ended up playing junior varsity and he built strong chemistry with his receivers last season. D'Acunto continues to shine throughout the offseason. With a dynamite arm and added mobility to his game, he could be in for a big year where St Peter's is expected to pass the ball much more with their current assembled roster.

They start off with a special one, hosting PSAL 4A defending champs Curtis in a private-public Staten Island battle to open the season. While they'll take on their usual Catholic League opposition, the Eagles also face three AAA teams—Chaminade, Cardinal Hayes, and Monsignor Farrell—along with a championship rematch on 9/6 when they travel to St. Joseph by-the-Sea in a highly anticipated matchup.
