One last dance from the last NDSU prospect camp of the year, as we close it out with Part 2 of the OL/DL standouts I gathered from my notebook. If you recruit Iowa and Wisconsin, this is a list worth your time!

It didn't take long to see who one of my favorite 2027 offensive linemen was at the second NDSU prospect camp, which in my eyes was Cedar Rapids Prairie's [player_tooltip player_id='1207826' first='Will' last='Clausen']. The verified 6'5 270 pounder, impressed me first in individual drills as you couldn't miss on how agile Will was with his footwork and that was consistent across every rep I got to watch as we got into 1v1s too. Will also showed off to have a fiery first step for his size as everything I watched out this young man's lower body just had a pure balance across the board. When we got into 1v1s, Will let the consistency continue in run-block and pass-pro schemes that I watched. Once Will was able to establish leverage at the point attack, he wasted no time at getting to the second level. Without a doubt an easy D1 graded 2027 Hog Molly coming out of the state of Iowa.

[player_tooltip player_id='1694616' first='Kyler' last='Grooters'], OL, Gilbert, IA 2026 Twitter

We stay in the state of Iowa in the offensive trenches, as another Iowan that caught my attention at the NDSU Prospect Camp. I was impressed with how well-versed Kyler was during the pass-pro 1v1s I got to watch in Fargo, as Kyler not only showed off a wide base that caught me right away on the eye test, but on the few reps I watched I was impressed with Kyler's strength as from my lenses he looked like a pain in the rear to move out of his spot. Good news for the college coaches out there, this 6'3 260 pounder is still waiting on his first offer!

Tobin Squires, OL, Sioux Valley, SD 2026 Twitter

Tobin is a 2026 in South Dakota I have graded as a tight end, but watching his live eval at NDSU a couple Saturdays ago, I surely can see the projection to moving to offensive tackle at the next-level. The verified 6'6 225 pounder from Sioux Valley during the live eval, showed off more comfortability moving to offensive linemen than you might have thought. That is surely a contribution to Tobins' football IQ as where his skillets stood out most from my lens, was what he showed off with his well-versed footwork. He also showed off a quicker release out of his hips at that position which made me think even more on why Tobin is a next-level fit as an offensive tackle. I think the upside that some college coaches see in Tobin, was made clear in the live eval I got from him in Fargo. Surely one that is more under the radar than we expected this summer.

[player_tooltip player_id='1801788' first='Josh' last='Douglas'], OL, Madison West, WI 2026 Twitter

Josh is now the second Madison native we have tracked during the NDSU prospect camp in our notebook, as one that I might have only caught the tail end of his reps during 1v1s, but what he showed in that little time resonated with me. Josh was one that wastes no time firing out his quick hands as it was evident in the couple reps I watched that the speed he fired out at, set the tone for winning reps during 1v1s. He also showed off good fluidity watching his footwork as the 6'4 300 pounder as one that can generate solid power out of his hips. Surely an 2026 offensive linemen from the Madison area, that I feel is under the radar.

Ray Lienau, OL, South Winneshiek, IA 2026

If you are still in the hunt for 2026 hidden gems that have the XL body type that you want to groom, Ray Lineau out of South Winneshiek (Iowa). The verified 6'7 240 pounder surely is one that could use some steak and potatoes with that frame, but was one that on a couple of reps I watched showed off the "nasty" you want in your offensive trenches. The one particular rep that this showed out, Ray showed off quickly that he knows how to finish. He also showed on another rep I watched how well-versed he was getting leverage quickly against his competition. You won't find him on Twitter, the tape is extremely light but yet he could be a senior bloomer you watch for after his first three games in the upcoming 2025 season out of the state of Iowa.

Ryan was one of the more undersized defensive linemen I got to watch at NDSU, but the one live rep I watched out of him surely eye-catching. This is how you standout at camps: Another defenisve linemen got kicked off the line for not paying attention and it was Ryan's turn to step up. What he did with that rep tells the story, he sprinted up out of nowhere, got quickly in his stance, and went to work against bigger competition and won the rep. I surely was impressed with the powerful hands for his size as he gave up about 40-50 pounds to the defender he went up against. To those that know the movie "Rudy", this was a Rudy like moment in my eyes for Ryan. Relentless drive and work ethic were surely to his advantage and got the job done and our attention.

Harrison was one of the first defensive ends that caught my attention during individual drills. The 6'0 225 pounder from Mount Horeb-Barneveld, showed off not only some of the best pad-level I saw during Indy but man, the violence that came thru with this young man's hands was something I kept tabs on throughout as Harrison was relentless with those hands in every drill I got to watch at NDSU. I also thought Harrison had one of the higher football IQs I watched out of the defensive end group as he was locked in from a technique perspective. Surely the college coaches have already bought in on Harrison, as he holds nine offers thus far and was undefeated during 1v1 reps as it's evident, that this young man is a fearless competitor against bigger competition with an excellent work ethic.
