Jenkins is fully locked in on football and that singular focus could pay off down the line. Still developing physically, Jenkins will need to add weight and improve his top end speed to keep pace with varsity level competition. His commitment to summer workouts and technical improvement is evident. Competing in a deep defensive back room will challenge him, but it should also help sharpen his skill set. Jenkins is more of a long term prospect but with the right development curve, he has the tools to carve out a meaningful role in the future. He's a name to file away for now as his best football is clearly still ahead of him.

Anderson is an emerging talent with the opportunity to earn varsity reps this season. Standing 5'10 and 150 pounds, he brings solid length to the defensive back position and has already shown flashes of good footwork in coverage. With a full offseason under his belt, Anderson will be looking to boost his straight line speed and showcase his ability to match up with bigger, older receivers. He'll need to be aggressive in fall camp to separate himself from other young DBs, but his frame and upside make him one to keep tabs on. If he stays consistent, Anderson could take a real step forward this season.

Jackson is a name to monitor closely in the 2028 DB class, particularly for teams looking for quick, agile defenders in the slot or nickel. Jackson's speed and ability to close quickly on the ball allow him to be disruptive in coverage, and with a full offseason of training behind him, he's expected to come back stronger and more physical. While still developing, his instincts and burst out of breaks stand out. Jackson might not be the most physically imposing DB but his skill set makes him an intriguing piece with long term upside, especially as he eyes an expanded role by his junior year.

Yanney is in a position to make his varsity debut this season and he brings intriguing tools to the table. He's quick in and out of his breaks, with smooth transitions that allow him to mirror receivers in man coverage. Yanney will benefit from spending another offseason in the same system, giving him familiarity with the scheme and room to improve his physicality. Adding strength will be key, but the natural athleticism is there. If he puts it all together with speed, technique, and physical development, he could emerge as one of the more versatile DBs in this class. He's definitely an up and coming prospect to monitor.

Adnan is one of the more physically ready 2028 DBs to debut on the radar. At 5'10 and 170 pounds, he has the frame and toughness to hold his own at the varsity level. What sets Adnan apart is his smooth movement, he changes direction effortlessly and doesn't hesitate to come downhill and deliver a hit. His versatility and physical tools give him a real shot to contribute early, especially as he continues to refine his coverage instincts. Adnan plays with an edge and is already drawing attention as a DB who's not afraid to get physical. Expect him to be in the mix this fall.
