Film Study: Catholic AAA 2026 OL

Throughout the summer, we will be looking at the 2026, 2027, 2028 NY recruiting classes. While stats show numbers, film shows the entire story. For this series we will be looking at 15 players in each position throughout the next three cycles. In this edition of OL Film Study we have [player_tooltip player_id='805814' first='Declan' last='Miller'], [player_tooltip player_id='735875' first='Anthony' last='Dinapoli'], [player_tooltip player_id='402255' first='Carlos' last='Malespin'], [player_tooltip player_id='840987' first='Bryce' last='Ciancuielli'], [player_tooltip player_id='402253' first='Ali' last='Farhat'].    Standing at 6'2" 290 pounds, Miller has an outstanding frame for a lineman. Given his frame, Miller lists as a Guard where he has been a staple for the Chaminade offense the past two years.   Miller is an aggressive athlete who uses all 290 pounds of his build to his advantage. His strength is unmatched as he drives opposing lineman back with ease. He has excellent feet and is extremely consistent across reps. He is excellent as a pulling guard and creates holes across the field.   NESCAC schools have extended offers and interest to Miller. With an impressive Senior campaign we can see some D1 programs follow suit.      Standing at 6'3" 275 pounds, Dinapoli is one of two Iona Prep lineman on this list. The Iona Prep star is extremely versatile with snaps at both Guard and Tackle. He projects as an IOL in college.   He has solid hand placement and finds the chest plate on every rep. He has good strength and good leverage and uses both to drive guys off the line and create gaps in on the line. He has good footwork and stays planted and grounded throughout his reps.   Dinapoli is an excellent versatile lineman for Iona Prep. His blend of strength and hand placement make him a deadly force going into his final season.      The second of two Iona Prep lineman, Malespin stands at 6'1" 280 pounds giving him a good build for a lineman. Moleskin currently holds an offer from Wagner and projects as a Center at the next level.   The Iona Prep captain has good snaps which are accurate and has a good first step. He has solid strength which is showcased on tape. He has solid hand placement and uses the chest plate and his leverage to drive opposing players back and knock them onto the ground. He has good footwork and is always looking for a man to hit.   Malespin and Dinapoli are part of a deadly 1,2 on the Iona Prep line. Both players have good skillsets and can be utilized at the next level.      Standing at 6'3" 270 pounds, Ciancuielli has an excellent build for a lineman. Given his frame he projects mainly as a guard, but he shares snaps as a Tackle.   He is the final Ciancuielli brother to come through the St. Anthony's program and he learned from his brothers. He has good strength and a certain amount of experience we see from guys who have played more than four years. He has solid hand placement and good leverage, using both to drive players back and create gaps on the line.   Ciancuielli, like his brothers is an excellent lineman. With the ability to play both Guard and Tackle, he will be vital in the run and pass games for the Friars this fall.      Farhat will enter his second season with Cardinal Hayes after playing with both New Dorp and Monsignor Farrell. Standing at 6'6" 275 pounds, he displays an excellent build for a lineman.   He is a tall leaner Tackle who has received playing time since his Freshman season which shows in his experience on film. He has a good motor and plays with elite physicality. he always finishes blocks and shows good footwork and hand placement.   He can work on using his leverage more given his frame but there is a lot to like from the big Cardinal Hayes lineman who should receive interest given his extensive skills.
