He has had a tremendous off-season packing on weight and developing into a true edge rusher with plus athleticism and the ideal length and size for the edge position at the next level. He is explosive off the ball, plays with violent hands and can counter back inside while winning with initial power, bend and good leverage at the point of attack when locking out with strong initial punch. He is technically sound against the run, shows he can quickly get off blocks, set the edge and is a high motor kid that can make plays backside and has quick block recognition abilities when collapsing on pullers or defeating reaches. He has a big catch radius, is smooth in the open field and can cover ground quickly while able to make contested catches on the ball and is very physical in the red-zone. He is fluid for his size and can run a variety of in-breaking and out-breaking routes while showing he is not afraid to get in the mix when blocking in the box and plays with great physicality at all times. At 6'4" and 210 pounds, he can play either linebacker or possibly even tight end in college depending on the level, scheme and school but is a no-brainer FCS+ talent. He is a long and rangy player that has great strength the point of attack and plays with violent intentions on both sides of the ball with a huge catch radius and strong hands in traffic. He moves extremely well for his size and is mismatch downfield and in the red zone. He does a nice job buying time with his legs while keeping his eyes downfield and has a strong build for the position. With still two years left in his prep career, he should have a standout Junior season for this loaded Fruitland team and be one of the states best heading into his senior year. He currently holds offers from Sacramento State, Stephen F. Austin and Montana State. He is a well balanced runner that shows plus vision through the first two levels, can cut in and out of his breaks with twitchy sudden movements and is tough to bring down in the open field. He is a compact and well built runner that runs behind his pads, seemingly always falls forward and looks for contact in the hole.
