- The recruiting process for the #TN2026 class is about 70 percent done but time is left for uncommitted prospects to find a spot on the next level, including the Power Four and D1 playing stage. These players are the ones that we here at Prep Redzone Tennessee believe have pushed their stocks higher this off-season and enhanced their games in the right direction towards earning a college spot. Look for these players to potentially have a breakout senior year that may open some eyes and turn some heads.

(QB) [player_tooltip player_id='1577633' first='Lane' last='Clement'] - Science Hill

- Even though Clement is ranked well among our quarterbacks, he is still new to the state of Tennessee and has yet to play a full game here in the Volunteer State. I think after the first few games of the year, people will start knowing this East Tennessee signal caller because Clement is legit with a D1 caliber arm. This 6'4 passer has done a nice job this off-season with development by increasing his arm strength while continuing to learn the nuisances of passing. When you watch film or clips on Clement, what you see is a quarterback that can make all throws while having the poise to keep his eyes down field. I'm partially surprised his recruitment hasn't taken off but I definitely think that can change with a big time senior year.

(QB) [player_tooltip player_id='205650' first='Blaine' last='Stansberry'] - Oak Ridge

- This East Tennessee signal caller took full advantage of the off-season as Stansberry hit the weight room hard and took his body to another level. The Wildcats passer has formed his frame very well and added the needed power and strength to not just his body but his talented right arm as well. Stansberry is still a tad undersized when it comes to his height, so making his body more appealing was definitely a smart move to make. Throughout the off-season months, the Cats quarterback has shown improved arm power, accuracy and timing while displaying enhanced mobility in the pocket. He has strong talent to work with this senior season as well, so I wouldn't be surprised to see Stansberry lead the 5A ranks in passing and force college coaches to take a longer look at his next level potential.

(RB) [player_tooltip player_id='1405419' first='Ethan' last='Kellum'] - BGA

- For one reason or another, this Mid-Tennessee product has yet to break out with offers but that could change after a senior year that see's Kellum become a more featured player within the Wildcats offense. One of the better three down backs we have in this class, Kellum is a well balanced ball player that runs hard and fast while being a top tier pass catcher and pass protector. His value to do several things out of the backfield is high in my book but college coaches have yet to get on board with him. Kellum could see an increase with his role this year due to his skill set and I wouldn't be surprised to watch this well built ball carrier rush for over 1,000 yards while producing over 500 yards receiving. The Wildcats senior could turn out to be one of the biggest stock risers coming out of the Fall football season.

(RB) [player_tooltip player_id='491463' first='Aiden' last='Perry'] - Science Hill

- As we head into the 2025 season, it's surprising to me to see this East Tennessee running back lacking the interest or offers because Perry could be one of the fastest ball carriers we have in the senior class that has big play abilities written all over him. When you turn on his junior film, you see a guy that can get into the open field quickly and Perry might have enhanced those skills further this off-season. Tracking his work, the Hilltoppers offensive threat appears to have increased his foot quickness while adding more size. I think that added size should help his cause, especially if he shows the ability to run through contact and continue churning his way down field. Adding a prolific passer like Clement should benefit Perry as well due to his ability to catch out of the backfield and become a nice secondary receiver.

(WR) [player_tooltip player_id='1630037' first='JaColby' last='Cooper'] - Alcoa

- If you turn on the film, what you see with Cooper is someone with natural athleticism, size and the ability to run after the catch. Yet, this East Tennessee product has yet to receive any college offers and that's surprising because Cooper is highly talented with I feel his best football days ahead of him. This coming Fall season should be his breakout campaign as Cooper steps into the #1 role at receiver. What helps his cause is that the Tornadoes have several solid options at receiver, so the opposition can't remain focused on Cooper. What I think helps this senior wideout stand out is his ability to make plays after the catch. Cooper is hard to deal with in open space and I believe those skills will be on full display this coming season.

(WR) [player_tooltip player_id='1103005' first='Corben' last='Reynolds'] - Riverdale

- A change of scenery might just be what this under the radar Mid-Tennessee talent needs to jump start his recruitment. Coming from a small town program to a 6A school, Reynolds will be under the spotlight this year and I believe he will excel because he's that good with D1 level capabilities. He is well built physically with a versatile skill set that could allow him to work outside or from the slot. Reynolds is an athletic guy that can run. Once the ball gets into his hands, he turns into a running back that is tough to bring down. Moving to Riverdale and the 6A level will help others see how good he is and I believe boost his recruiting stock to where he could become a signing day steal.

(TE/WR) [player_tooltip player_id='856164' first='Ayden' last='Sadler'] - Green Hill

- Sadler moved to Kentucky for his junior season but after a year away, this 6 '5 pass catcher is back in the Volunteer State and ready to become the Hawks go-to guy for the upcoming 2025 season. This guy is a natural athlete that is dripping with potential but sits under the radar at the moment, still waiting for those college options to float his way. I believe those opportunities should arrive after a potential breakout senior year. Sadler is a mismatch problem for the opposition as he moves like a receiver but has the size and skill set of a flex tight end. You can line Sadler up in a variety of spots and take advantage of smaller defenders. He is also a great option in the red zone where his size and length become problems. The Hawks pass catcher is definitely someone to follow this Fall as a potential stock riser!

(TE) [player_tooltip player_id='1626178' first='Jackson' last='Neumann'] - MBA

- When you look through the Big Red roster, you will find several good options to benefit the team's passing game and Neumann should be one of those key guys this coming season. Having a D1 quarterback at the helm, MBA should be looking to spin it much more this season and I believe Neumann will benefit from that. This 6 '4 pass catcher has the look and skill set to become an eventual FCS level talent but needs the ball thrown his way to make his film stand out. There is a lot of upside here with Neumann as I see tons of tread on his tires and potential to be a versatile guy that can work on the line but also flex out into the slot. If he can continue adding more mass to his frame, I wouldn't be surprised to see Neumann sign with an FCS program this Winter or during the second signing day.

(TE/OL) [player_tooltip player_id='1621991' first='Maurice' last='Smith'] - Oakland

- Depending on who you talk to, this Murfreesboro area product could be viewed as a college tight end or offensive tackle prospect but either way, that's how athletic this guy is and the potential he brings to the collegiate gridiron. Throughout these off-season months, Smith has worked a ton and developed at tight end, where he has shown a solid release with the ability to run in the open field along with some glue like hands. The Patriots senior would be more of your traditional tight end that can in-line block while also providing a big target in the middle of the field. The potential is high as well for Smith to develop on the O-line, so it will be interesting to see how the Oakland coaching staff uses him this coming season.

(OL) [player_tooltip player_id='1592103' first='Xavier' last='Johnson'] - McGavock

- It's hard to find offensive linemen that have the combination of athleticism and size that works well on the collegiate playing stage but Johnson is one of those guys and someone that sits under the radar as we head into the 2025 season. Standing almost 6'5 280 plus pounds, Johnson looks the part but because he plays with a program that hasn't done a lot of winning, his stock has yet to take off. I think because of his off-season development, the Raiders big man could be in-store for a breakout senior year where he forces college coaches to pay attention and possibly extend him offers. We will see how things work out but Johnson is definitely someone I have my eye on this Fall and someone I could see appealing to D1 or FCS level coaches.
