Here is our eval of him!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>Purcell is one of the best prospects in the state of Illinois.  At 6'2" 185 pounds Purcell is a southpaw that has elite touch, timing, and accuracy.  So accurate on intermediate and short routes.  Gets the ball quick out of his hands.  Throws well on the run going either way.  Capable scrambler that can get a first down.  Precise footwork and mechanics for a young QB.  Throws an excellent deep ball.  Legit three level thrower that levels it incredibly well. Reminds me a lot of a Matt Leinart type QB with his accuracy and ability to make all the throws at the college level.
