- Scouting the talent throughout this state never sleeps. The evaluation process is always on full go, so as we inch closer to the start of the 2025 season, here we look through our database to see who may be sitting under the radar and unranked when it comes to their recruitment. Our #PRZTN rankings will be updated in the Fall and these players have a chance to be ranked with a breakout senior year.

(QB) [player_tooltip player_id='540015' first='Chase' last='Stephens'] - Walker Valley

- Possibly the best unranked quarterback we have from our #TN2026 class is this East Tennessee prospect that has put forth a strong off-season campaign thus far and should be poised for a big senior year. Standing nearly 6 '1 and 200 pounds, Stephens has good enough size to compete on the college stage as well as solid arm talent that can allow him to stick and carve out a role. What I like most about the Mustangs signal caller is his confidence and ability to throw the deep ball accurately. Stephens shows nice arm power with the upside to make all the throws. Putting that on film this Fall will be key towards boosting his recruiting stock and finding a future home on the college level.

(QB) [player_tooltip player_id='402542' first='Gage' last='Porter'] - Knox. Webb

- The 2025 season will finally be Porter's shot to be the starting quarterback at Webb and while he only has one year to prove his worth as the starting guy, I think he will do well and show that he could be worthy of playing on the college level. Porter sits unranked right now at Prep Redzone Tennessee but only because he doesn't have much film to evaluate. What I have seen however from the Spartans senior is good enough to be on the radar and someone that could have his best football days ahead of him. Porter brings nice size to the field along with solid mobility in the pocket and good enough arm power to make several top level throws. This coming season will be critical towards his advancement into college, so it will be interesting to see what kind of product Porter finally puts onto the field.

(QB) [player_tooltip player_id='795241' first='Isaiah' last='Batten'] - Pope Prep

- The only reason Batten isn't ranked with Prep Redzone Tennessee right now is the fact that he moved to the Volunteer State after our initial release of the Top 300 rankings. The Knights quarterback is a native of Tennessee but played his junior season in Georgia, however he is back and ready to make his mark for what could be his best football year yet. Batten has college size along with a nice calm, cool demeanor behind center that can keep his teammates relaxed. He also has clean mechanics with a big arm that still has levels to it with further development. Enhancing his timing along with increasing his pocket awareness this season will go a long way towards earning a shot on the next level and I think he will do it as Batten is quite talented.

(QB) [player_tooltip player_id='353896' first='Jackson' last='Stroup'] - Gallatin

- A multi-year starter with college size, Stroup is a true pocket passer that has picked up several lower level offers so far this off-season but could add bigger interest with a strong senior campaign. The Green Wave signal caller sits just outside our current Top 300 but should find himself ranked at the end of senior year. What you see out of Stroup is a tall, strong armed passer that has improved his accuracy and timing this off-season while continuing to develop his body. I had the chance to see Stroup perform in person several times over the off-season months and I saw strong improvement in several areas that could not just boost his prospect ranking but potentially his college recruitment as well.

(QB) [player_tooltip player_id='523936' first='Maddox' last='Franklin'] - Lincoln Co.

- One of the better pure passers sitting outside our Top 300 right now is this Mid-Tennessee product that has developed nicely throughout the years but could be in-store for his best season yet. That statement is made due to Franklin's added size, which should help strengthen his right arm and allow him to make more impressive passes. This guy is a worker, a cerebral passer that understands how to read defenses and make the proper throws. Franklin is a coach on the field that does a lot of the little things right. If he can show improved arm strength this Fall along with leading his Falcons team to several victories, getting himself ranked and finding a college home is very possible.

(QB) [player_tooltip player_id='1562192' first='T.J.' last='Jenkins'] - Lausanne

- Jenkins heads into his senior season as one of the better quarterback prospects coming out of the greater Memphis region this year but sits unranked at the moment due to his size and need to enhance his arm strength. I believe from watching the Lynx quarterback work during the off-season, I think he has improved in those areas and should be poised for his best high school football year yet. What you get in Jenkins is a dual threat guy with good mechanics and enough arm strength to push the ball down field. If he can show better arm power this year along with clear decision making, Jenkins could boost his stock and ranking where bigger programs begin to take more of an interest.

(QB) [player_tooltip player_id='1705735' first='Terrell' last='Williams'] - Jackson Central-Merry

- You have to look towards the action and press clippings to find much about this West Tennessee quarterback but after doing some deep dive on Williams throughout the off-season, I see a prospect that can make his way inside the Top 20 for his position by the end of the Fall football year. Coming off a breakout junior year, Williams returns to help his Cougars team compete for a region title and possibly more but he must perform at a higher level to get that done. I like what I see from Williams as he sports solid mechanics, average arm strength and mobility to maneuver the pocket. There much to develop here with Williams but the raw talents are there to see a spike with his recruitment while being added to our updated Fall rankings.

(QB) [player_tooltip player_id='1602198' first='Brady' last='Swallows'] - Warren Co.

- Sitting way under the radar but maybe one of the smartest quarterbacks coming out of our #TN2026 class, Swallows is a highly coachable young man that may not be on many coaches recruiting lists but he may change that with a productive senior season. Swallows has ten games to show his worth as his Warren Co. team has gone independent for the ‘25 season, so he needs to be ready to go in game one. What you could see from this Mid-TN product is an accurate passer with solid arm strength that has the confidence to put the ball wherever he needs to. Swallows can make it into our next updated rankings with a big senior year but also boost his stock to where college coaches will start paying attention.

(QB) [player_tooltip player_id='402537' first='Elias' last='Childers'] - Overton

- Childers barely missed our first cut early in the spring but can play his way into our rankings with a strong senior campaign, especially if he shows better work with his mechanics and timing. The Bobcats quarterback is a big dude behind center (6'3 215) that keeps his eyes down field, looking for the open receiver. The biggest thing holding coaches back from extending offers is the lack of mobility in the pocket. Childers isn't the greatest athlete but he tries to make up for it with his pocket passing. He has a lot to show on the field this Fall to boost his stock and force college coaches to look his way. Childers has college size but has to prove the worth of his arm to enhance his college recruitment.

(QB) [player_tooltip player_id='1582354' first='Jaxon' last='Dabrowski'] - William Blount

- A dual threat quarterback with passing upside, Dabrowski has put in a lot of work this off-season to push his game further and if he performs well during the upcoming football year, his stock should rise then jump into our updated rankings. The Govs senior quarterback has done a nice job of building up his body this off-season to provide himself more strength and a frame that can take some hits and keep going. The added strength has shown up with his arm as well. Dabrowski is a good athlete too that can maneuver the pocket well and either make the pass or tuck it and run. It will be interesting to see how this East TN quarterback performs this year as reaching the college level isn't far away for Dabrowski.
