Arkansas Top Offensive Linemen Prospects Heading Into 2025

<p>With the season right around the corner, we take a look at the top offensive linemen in the Natural State. Most, if not all, of these prospects will be playing on Saturdays in 2026. Taylor is a high motor, high effort prospect. He displays good initial quickness off the LOS. Taylor demonstrates good footwork and hand placement, allowing him to establish inside leverage and move defenders out of their gaps using strong lower body power and active feet. He displays good initial quickness off the snap, along with good hand placement and pad level, allowing him to create leverage and displace defensive linemen out of running lanes during base and down blocks. He can create leverage and effectively drive back his opponents. His lateral quickness and foot quickness enable him to execute reach blocks successfully and move up to the second level. His strong anchor—due to good lower body strength, core stability, and upper body strength—gives him the ability to control. He'll be leading the way in the trenches for the running game. Heckman showcases a quick first step and delivers a strong initial punch. His solid short-area quickness allows him to reach the second level swiftly in zone schemes. In his scouting report, he displays good initial quickness off the snap. His good hand placement, upper and lower body strength, as well as his balance, bend, and lateral agility, which allow him to mirror defenders effectively. In the run game, he demonstrates good footwork and angles, which enable him to get out in space during pulls and zone runs. On base blocks, he wins at the POA due to good hand placement to create inside leverage, enhanced by good pad level and active feet to displace.
