Young has to be the tone-setter inside the trenches. He display’s ability to execute inline-reach blocks, which lets him get to the second level quickly. He has good athletic ability and hand placement when he fires off the LOS to create leverage and displace defenders to create running lanes. A strong anchor is due to good lower body strength, core strength, bend, balance, and UOH to control pass rushers.

Young has to be the tone-setter inside the trenches Friday night against a physical Lake Hamilton team. He display’s ability to execute inline-reach blocks, which lets him get to the second level quickly. Good athletic ability with good hand placement when he fires off the LOS to create leverage and displace defenders to create running lanes. Strong anchor due to good lower body strength, core strength, bend, balance and UOH to control pass rushers. If Young can dominate early, it will help open up the Rams offense.
