[player_tooltip player_id='378828' first='Brady' last='Hull'] has continued to prove to be the top offensive lineman in the state in his class over the past two seasons. As a sophomore, Brady lined up at left tackle where he was very impressive as a run blocker. He does a great job of driving his feet through contact to create movement off the line of scrimmage and finishes his blocks through the whistle. Brady also does a great job of getting to the second level and picking up blocks in the open field. He is also very reliable in pass protection, showing the footwork to mirror opposing pass rushers off the edge along with the awareness to continue to find work when in his pass sets. Hull currently holds several Power 4/Division I offers and I expect that list to continue to grow over the next couple seasons.

[player_tooltip player_id='500073' first='Justyn' last='Perez'] is another offensive lineman who continued to stand out as a sophomore. He lines up at right tackle where he was very impressive in pass protection, showing the quick footwork to mirror opposing pass rushers with ease. Perez also does a great job of fighting with his hands to defeat pass rush moves with ease. He is also very reliable as a run blocker, showing the ability to drive his man out of the picture with ease to create a running lane for the ball carrier. Justyn currently holds multiple Power 4/Division I offers and I expect them to keep piling up heading into his junior season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1284258' first='Rahzeon' last='Gillespie'] caught our attention last season at right guard. In the run game, he has shown the ability to get out in front of the ball carrier as a puller then pick up blocks in the open field with ease. He has also shown the strength to drive his man off the line of scrimmage as an in-line blocker. Gillespie is also very impressive in pass protection, showing the ability to keep a strong base while absorbing contact and maintain inside position with his hands with ease. Rahzeon currently holds offers from UT Martin, Grambling State, Southern Mississippi, and Eastern Kentucky, and I expect his recruitment to continue to heat up this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1222652' first='Xavier' last='Carter'] is another Frederick Douglass offensive lineman who caught our attention as a sophomore. Carter lines up at center where he is very impressive in pass protection. He does a great job of getting the snap off quickly then using his footwork to get into his pass sets with a sense or urgency. Carter has shown the ability to pick up stunts/blitzes with ease while maintaining a strong base, not allowing for much penetration into the pocket. He is also dependable as a run blocker, showing the ability to run his feet through contact to drive his man down the field. Carter currently holds offers from UT Martin and Southern Mississippi, and I expect more to come his way as he continues to develop.

To wrap up our top five offensive linemen in the class of 2027 in the state of Kentucky, I have [player_tooltip player_id='1715699' first='Austin' last='Sloan']. As a sophomore at Overton (TN), Sloan lined up at right tackle where he was very reliable in pass protection. He has the footwork to mirror opposing pass rushers and has also shown the ability to keep a strong base while taking on contact. Sloan also does a great job of using his hands to defeat pass rush moves and finish blocks against opposing pass rushers quickly. He has also shown the ability to explode out of his stance and drive his man several yards down the field as a run blocker. Austin currently holds offers from Miami (OH) and Eastern Kentucky, and I expect a lot of eyes to be on him after transferring to Campbellsville for his junior year.
