2027 Rankings: Need to Know Prospects Outside the Top 100

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I breakdown some names out side the Top 100 overall prospects in the recent 2027 rankings update. He is a DB that has a lot of room to move up in future rankings as he continues to develop his game as I like his potential as a prospect. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">He comes over to DeMatha after being a at Calvert Hall and look to be a key part of their secondary in 2025. A physical box safety who can play near the LOS, Christian is effective in both stopping the run and in pass coverage. Good size at 6'0" 185lbs and a thick built frame, he can lay at hit on the ball carrier. Christian displays good burst &amp; speed, with a verified 4.7 forty time to back it up. He shows fluid hips and COD ability, can re-direct and close on the ball quickly. Junior year will be a big season for Christian. I can see him developing into a hybrid OLB/SS type that is coveted in today's game. Playing mainly DL in 2024 I fully expect Mason to make his home as an OT in the future. He looks to have natural bend and good pop off the snap. As well as quick active feet that most likely comes from Mason being a county champion wrestler. Mason has a ton of upside going into his junior season. He is a physical, well put together &amp; solid overall athlete...impact basketball player for Cape as well. He is a tweener size wise at OLB, so would like him to add some bulk to his frame. However, he can play in space and shows well in coverage in the flats. Ozmeer is very effective off the edge, coming with speed and force to the QB. He shows high play recognition and football IQ. Reading cues and putting himself in the right spot to make a play. At RB, Ozmeer is a north-south runner who can stick his foot in the ground and make strong cuts. He runs downhill and is a solid speed / power combo back. He comes in at #134 and the 20 overall OL and is poised for a big junior year.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>An athletic OG, he can pull with pace and quickness out into space or up to the second level. Once Demareus gets going he is looking for defenders to blow up and take out as well. He is physically strong, with good strength, power in his lower half, and has some nasty to him. A weight room kid as well, he is a hard worker and very coachable. He has twitch, burst and speed to go along with exceptional ball skills. Able to play any of the CB spots, whether in the slot/nickel, field or boundary corner - he can make plays from all over the field. He shows best in zone coverage where he can use his quick reactions to see &amp; break on the ball, while also having quick twitch hips to turn and run with the receiver when needed. A physical player as well, don't think just because he isn't the biggest player he wont throw his body into a tackle. Amir routinely comes up to support the run and fills the alley. He comes in just outside the top 150 and is a top 20 WR with plenty of room to move up in future rankings as he continues to develop his game.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>With a tall long frame, Ronte has a reported 80" Wingspan and showcases a big catch radius. He's got strong hands, able to snatch the ball out of the air and go get it away from his body. For a tall WR, he can snap off the top of his route very well. Able to drop his weight and make crisp cuts/ start &amp; stop moves to create good separation. He makes for a good deep vertical threat as well with his long stride and leaping ability. Ronte is a solid overall athlete too, being a multi-sport basketball player and runner in track. Ronte also plays some S on defense as well, and depending on how big he fills out could even develop into a flex TE option.
