I would let my son play for Head Coach Anthony Franz. A St. Charles, Missouri native and Dordt University grad, Franz has turned around a Crown College football program that was in the depths of despair into a legitimate UMAC contender that has seen its roster retention, graduation rate, overall GPA, and on-field success increase significantly over Franz's five seasons at the helm going into the 2025 season. Franz told PRzMN at the recent Crown College had only three, yes, three, eligible players when he took over the program going into the 2021 season, but now sports a roster of nearly triple digits, with 45 school records broken and 21 UMAC All-Conference picks under Franz's leadership, with an emphasis on faith and a culture of accountability leading these men through their college journey. Crown College also puts on a heckuva camp, and PrepRedzoneMN was lucky to be in attendance from their triple-digit showing in St. Bonifacius before the 4th of July. Go Polars!

Sitting just a spot outside our Top 50 in the 2026 PrepRedzoneMN Big Board, Anoka's stud CB [player_tooltip player_id='1248628' first='Devon' last='Luckas'] was easily the Alpha of the 2025 Crown College Prospect Camp, going an entire 1v1 competitive session without losing a rep while showcasing some excellent athleticism and upside and the most dominant individual performance I've seen on the 2025 summer camp circuit. Measuring in at 6'2, 189 pounds, I watched Luckas pop off a 4.51 laser 40 in front of the Polars staff, and he added a 9'3 broad and 4.3 shuttle to sweeten the Anoka product's proverbial athletic pot, and he put the traits to good use during 1v1s. Able to play press-man or off-man with equal effectiveness, Luckas was shutting down WRs at the LOS with ease and able to maintain phase and anticipate routes like as effortlessly as a walk in the park. Loose hips, explosive out of his breaks, long and physical at the catch point, and simply too big, long, and fast for WRs to overcome during 1v1s. It's gotta feel good to leave an offseason camp without losing a rep. Crown, MSU-Moorhead, Sioux Falls, Augustana, UW-Eau Claire, and Bemidji State are all involved right now.

Yet another example of the first-class athletes that are regularly manufactured at the Farmington High School weight room, rising senior wideout Darren Neubert was a new name to my radar whose first exposure to PRzMN came at the 2025 Crown College Prospect Camp, and after seeing the kid move and compete, it's safe to say he's a certified sleeper. Highlighted by a blazing 4.65 laser 40 I saw in person during testing, Neubert was on my short-list of names to watch during indy, and I was excited to see the wideout was a first-in-line leader and worker, with sudden footwork and a good understanding of the route tree. He put the tools to good use during 1v1s as well, going against the best CBs the Crown College Prospect Camp had to offer while displaying good releases at the LOS, the quickness and toughness to beat the press, as well as smooth change of direction ability and soft hands. Could be a big season for the Tigers rising senior wideout.

To add to the versatility, Breyer told me that he also went 17-21 on PATs in the 2024 season, adding to his three-phase capability and general allure as a new name to the PRZ radar.
Sutherlin showed up and showed up in St. Bonifacius, representing the 612 and Minneapolis Roosevelt High School well at the 2025 Crown College Prospect Camp, proving himself through every phase of the camp as a top performer and standout. With standout quickness, Sutherlin was a strong route runner who proved himself to be a deep threat that could beat defensive backs vertically all afternoon long. Sutherlin, after double digit wins during 1v1s, really began to feel himself and play with confidence, showing effective burst out of his breaks, great hands, and the consistent ability to work back to the ball and make strong catches away from his body and through contests from defensive backs. Sutherlin proved he could create separation against a variety of DBs in attendnance and displayed a balanced, effective skillset that should make potential college coaches excited.

Good showing from the Osseo rising senior OLB Eidsvoog, who was the best coverage linebacker in attendance at the 2025 Crown College Prospect Camp, using a skillset consisting of physicality, quickness, and anticipation to shut down RBs and slot receivers with a mean press at the LOS and the speed to stay with pass catchers throughout a route. Eidsvoog notched an INT and more than his fair share of PBUs throughout 1v1s in St. Bonny who didn't mind lining up against the best of the best during competition.

Jallah made the three-and-a-half hour drive from Fargo to St. Bonny worth it, proving himself as a Top Performer and Standout during 1v1s as the best route runner amongst the RB group that descended on the 2025 Crown College Prospect Camp. Jallah was twitchy, possessed the deep speed to win vertically, and tracked and played the ball well in the air, creating a more-than-successful 1v1 session that saw win after win come to the Fargo product.

[player_tooltip player_id='1640892' first='Josiah' last='Turner'] (Annandale) 2028. RB/SB. 5'8, 159 lbs.

PRzMN is well aware of the Turner brothers out of Annandale, with rising sophomore Josiah in particular proving himself as a consistent top performer whenever we get a live exposure point on the 2028 playmaker. Turner's ability to consistently create separation was the best at the 2025 Crown College Prospect Camp, and the rising sophomore already possesses a nuanced and experienced route running skillset that shows up particularly well in his light feet, body control at the catch point, and twitch at the top of the route. Turner showed a particularly exciting ability to climb the ladder and contort his body to high-point the football over helpless DBs, and he was really cooking at the Crown College Prospect Camp, earning win after win in front of the Polars' staff and PRzMN. Should be a huge year for the versatile offensive weapon out of Annandale.

I was scouting the 2025 Crown College Prospect Camp without really knowing who was who based on the jersey numbers, so I didn't know that 4White was a rising sophomore 2028er until after the camp ended. It made his performance at the Crown College Prospect Camp even sweeter, as Kaphing was - in my opinion - the best QB at the camp, and he put up a strong performance in all three phases of testing, indy, and competition. Beginning with a testing performance that included an 8'6 broad, 4.66 shuttle, and 7.18 L-drill while measuring in at a 6'2, 187 pounds, Kaphing had the best arm in St. Bonny, and although he throws with a bit side-armed, Kaphing was throwing a great deep ball and was consistently stretching the field with accuracy during 1v1s. The rising sophomore also displayed some noticeable ball-placement ability, and he overall posted a stock-rising performance that will see his name rise the ranks of the PRzMN 2028 Big Board before the season kicks off in late August. Go Bengals!

Every time I see Eden Prairie's 2028 QB [player_tooltip player_id='1168289' first='Blake' last='Anderson'] he looks better. At the 2025 Crown College Prospect Camp, Anderson had a strong day throwing the rock and he got better as the day wore on, and his performance was testing was notable as well. Popping off an impressive 8'7 broad, 4.5 shuttle, and 7.06 L-drill, Anderson was the most athletic QB in attendance, and he showed off a balanced skillset that extended beyond his on-field physical attributes. Anderson, who had a couple particularly impressive tear drop tosses that left an impression on PRzMN, showed off good touch and timing on throws all around the gridiron, as it's also worth mentioning that he was especially accountable and communicative with his receivers, as well as coachable and an active listener. Only one gunslinger can man the QB1 spot for the mighty Eden Prairie Eagles, but Anderson is doing all of the right things going going into his sophomore season with the 6A giant.

Warren Uptain (Durango, CO) 2026. OL. 5'11, 264 lbs.

Colorado native and Durango Demon product Warren Uptain walked away from the 2025 Crown College Prospect Camp as OL MVP, in large part thanks to his balance and base, quick, intentional footwork, and overall strength coming out of the Class 4A ranks in the Centennial State. Uptain was a tank during 1v1s, catching the staff's eye and earning himself win after win, as well as some hardware, and an offer, once the camp concluded. Not a bad showing in St. Bonny for the Durango rising senior!

Benjamin Matson (Two Rivers) 2027. DL. 5'11, 273 lbs.

A camp favorite and overall Top Performer & Standout from the 2025 Crown College Prospect Camp, Two Rivers' rising junior DT Matson had some serious lead in his hands, and he was one of the strongest prospects in attendance who didn't mind playing with physicality and aggressiveness between the whistles. With a great push-pull and some seriously effective hand usage, Matson was a nightmare for OL to try and handle between the tackles, as his strength, technique, and overall ferociousness were a fun watch that cool afternoon in St. Bonny.

A no-doubt Top Performer out of the beefy OL group at the 2025 Crown College Prospect Camp, Edwards comes out of a LOADED Byron Bears 2025 roster and showed why he'll be an integral part to their 2025 success at the event. Edwards was strong and stout at the point of attack, and I loved his base and ability to stay square during his pass set. He was smooth and effective all indy and competition long and a fun watch to boot. Buy stock in Byron now!

Leroy Houston (Anoka) 2026. DL. 5'11, 247 lbs.

With the build to really do some damage at the high school level between the tackles, as well as potentially the DIII ranks, Anoka's Leroy Houston had a good 1v1 session during the 2025 Crown College Prospect Camp, earning tons of Ws thanks to his overall play speed as well as get off. Houston was a no doubt Top Performer who will help a hungry Anoka squad seek glory this fall in the trenches.

Caleb Watton (Woodbury) 2026. DL. 6', 215 lbs.

Another eye-catcher and Top Performer from the active DL group at the 2025 Crown College Prospect Camp, Watton's overall play speed and effort, as well as first step from the interior, caused OGs and OCs problems throughout the 1v1 portion of competition, and he did a great job of not allowing OL to get him tied up off the snap. New name to know out of Woodbury!

[player_tooltip player_id='551304' first='Alex' last='Morgando'] (Rogers) 2026. WR. 5'10, 143 lbs.

The most unassuming wideout and Top Performer in attendance, Morgando showed off his 4.6 shuttle well during 1v1s, utilizing some nasty cuts and twitch COD ability to create separation at the LOS and top of the route against any and all defenders that dared to come his way. Ankles were broken and separation was very much created by the Rogers High School product and new name to PrepRedzoneMN. Soft hands that caught anything and everything that came his way as well.

Charlie Myers (Underwood, IA) 2027. RB. 5'7, 192 lbs.

A cut up brick of a 2027 RB from the Hawkeye State, Underwood's Charlie Myers showed up and showed out during the 2025 Crown College Prospect Camp. One of the top testers and most athletic prospects in attendance, hands down, Myers' change of direction ability and superb twitch helped him show up in all phases of the camp, particularly indy and 1v1s. Myers had the speed to consistently beat LBs deep, had a good understanding of how to create separation and win with his quickness, and some solid hands as well. With an outrageous blend of speed, power, twitch, and pad level, Myers is about to make some noise in Iowa in 2025.

Peyton Schlagel (MACCRAY) 2026. DE. 6'7, 208 lbs.

An easy First Team All-Eye Test selection out of the Class A ranks in Minnesota, Schlagel is one of those hidden giants coming out of the Small School ranks, measuring in at an eye-popping 6'7, 208 with a ridiculous amount of room to fill in. The MACCRAY DE/TE is raw, but he flashed some bend, some loose hips, and was able to utilize his length in pass rushing situations to earn 1v1 wins throughout competition, and the rare size presents obvious intrigue and upside when talking projection to the next level. Additionally, Schlagel posted an 8'4 broad and nearly 30' triple broad during testing to highlight some explosiveness, and I applaud Crown College for being able to get an early look at this kid. I think he'd be an excellent DIII pickup for an Upper Midwest squad.

A Southern Minnesota hog molly with great size and a particularly impressive lower body, Johnson had a good performance at the 2025 Crown College Prospect Camp, showing off heavy hands, good strength at the point of technique, and good technique in both run and pass blocking settings.

The last QB standout from the 2025 Crown College Prospect Camp, 507 gunslinger Drake starting putting together a really strong 1v1 session during the heat of the camp's competition portion. Representing the Faribault Falcons, Drake was putting some serious touch on the ball, consistently leading wide receivers open and putting the pigskin only where his WRs can get it. Always good to see someone come alive when the lights are the brightest.

Tall, long, and showing a ton of room of room to fill in, Rochester John Marshall's [player_tooltip player_id='1253585' first='Jamal' last='Faux'] balled out during 1v1s, proving himself to be one of the biggest deep threats in attendance after consistently beating DBs vertically and tracking the deep ball with explosive authority. Faux, who also popped off an 8'1 broad and 4.43 shuttle, also proved himself to be a contested catch machine through 1v1s who could both climb the ladder and play the ball well in the air. Big sleeper on an experienced RJM roster going into 2025.

Keeyan Netzke (Sleepy Eye) 2028. DE. 6'1, 182 lbs.

A rising sophomore coming out of the Sleepy Eye program that had a good showing at the 2025 Crown College Prospect Camp, Netzke posted a 4.72 shuttle and 7.66 to show off some quickness for a kid still very much growing into his body. However, he got some wins against some quality competition during 1v1s, and he played fast and was able to win with his get-off and first step at the LOS. Yet another 2028 getting added to our Big Board!

Bayi Okugas (Moorhead) 2026. WR. 5'8, 140 lbs.

Yet another name to know out of a ridiculously athletic 2025 Moorhead Spud roster, Okugas made the drive down from Fargo/Moorhead and made it worth it, balling out during 1v1s and really spotlighting a shifty and dynamic route running game. Okugas put out some nasty releases at the LOS that had both LBs and DBs heads spinning, and his deep speed and shake at the top of the route had defensive backs guessing as the day wore on. Okugas was creating a noticeable and impressive amount of separation throughout the day and turned some heads during competition, always a good sign.

Aidan Wiegert (Andover) 2026. WR. 6', 187 lbs.

A physical eye-catcher who was a cut up and muscular 6', near 190 lber., Wiegert used that size and physicality to his advantage during 1v1s, easily fighting through the press and utilizing body positioning and toughness at the catch point to reel in contested catches and 50/50 balls. Also added a 4.5 shuttle and 8'9 broad for good measure!

Logan Wurm (Spencer, IA) 2028. WR. 5'8, 167 lbs.

Wurm had one of the splashiest plays of the 2025 Crown College Prospect Camp, as Wurm broke the ankles of a helpless DB during 1v1s that had the crowd fired up and made an impression on PRZ for the effort.

Clocking in with a blazing 4.45 shuttle during testing, Northfield's [player_tooltip player_id='1665873' first='Lincoln' last='Wilson'] played fast, flying out of his breaks with pace and routinely taking the top off the defense with success. Stock rising performance from the young Raider wideout and proficient route runner.

A 6A standout who is a real-deal problem in 7v7 settings, Fitzgerald racked up some nasty wins during 1v1s, utilizing his twitch, burst, and soft hands to put together some highlight reel-worthy wins and catches throughout the competition. DBs had trouble getting a hand on him, much less covering him in space. Should be a fun weapon for the Rebels in 2025.

Zachary Whitefoot (Kenosha Tremper, WI) 2026. 5'9, 160 lbs.

One of the quickest prospects in attendance, Whitefoot racked up a ton of 1v1 wins during the 2025 Crown College Prospect Camp.
