William and Mary Prospect Camp: Top Offensive Performers

In this article:
The June 17th William and Mary prospect camp showcased many standout performers, but these players left an impression on myself and coaches alike. All of these players competed, won 1 on 1 matchups, and showcased the traits and skills to be successful at the college level.
Keondre was a standout performer Monday night wearing the impressionable "green cleats" to make his mark. Keondre showed the skills to be an extremely marketable ATH at the next level. Kenondre has a fluid running style and shows elite cutting ability, burst, COD, and hands. Player did a great job of adjusting to the ball in mid air. He shows an elusiveness and potential for YAC yards with his burst and vision. Player is a hybrid weapon who will make a program very happy in 2 years. Box office upside and will absolutely dazzle at the next level.

Ryan showed out Monday night. He did a wonderful job of getting to the second level in run blocking. He has great feet, stays square, rolls his hips, and creates separation. He does a great job of keeping his hands inside on the DL. He shows good movement and pulls well. He is never lunging and his feet are always underneath him. Ryan does a good job of getting his butt to the hole and walling off defenders. Ryan may not have elite size or athletic ability, but he shows great technique, footwork, and enough size/movement to make him a starter at the next level.

Nate put on a show Monday night demonstrating his size, physicality, and athletic ability. Nate will have options as to what position he plays in college (OL/TE), but what he clearly shows is a large body and great feet. Nate played TE Monday night and showed an exceptional ability to be physical, but also run routes for a kid his size. Player can be a mismatch for both DB's and LB's. Player also shows excellent upside as a guard who can pull at next level. With a good junior season Nate will continue to put himself on the recruiting radar.
Player showcased his exceptional route running Monday night, as well as craftiness and physicality. Josh has a great release and does a great job of stemming his routes at the LOS with head fakes to deceive the corner and gain separation. He shows exceptional strength, balance, and effort after the catch, making him a hard WR to bring down. Josh also has exceptional ball skills and leaping ability, allowing him to play bigger than his 5'10 height. His tight footwork allows him to change direction quickly and is particularly evident on comeback and curl routes. High effort/high energy player player who shows good instincts and aggression. Great two way player!!!

Player shows exceptional length and technique for a rising junior. He is very controlled and patient as a pass blocker, as he kick steps and allows the play to develop. As a run blocker he is never lunging and changes directions well as he climbs to second level. His hand placement and separation allow him to win 1 on 1 matchups, as he uses strength, but never out of control. With increased muscle memory, he'll become a more instinctive player with more aggression and physicality. Right now he is still developing. Because of his size, control, and ability to use the defender's momentum against him, he will have a high ceiling. I expect he will start generating more recruiting interest this Fall and next Summer.
