Earlier this week, we released the updated 2028 rankings. Here are 10 more New Additions (Part 2):

[player_tooltip player_id='1684430' first='Jericho' last='Brody'], West Mesa: Brody certainly has good football genes. His older brother Elijah plays LB for the UNM Lobos and his father Landrick Brody is the West Mesa head coach. Brody, who's already close to 6-feet tall, is competing for the Mustangs' starting QB job. Extremely athletic.

[player_tooltip player_id='1749009' first='Ayden' last='Gonzales'], Atrisco Heritage: It's rare to find a young linemen who is able to contribute on both sides of the ball, but Gonzales could do just that for the Jaguars in 2025. Atrisco Heritage hopes for better days ahead with a new head coach and talented young players like Gonzales.

[player_tooltip player_id='1684485' first='J' last='Dylan Hathaway'], La Cueva: Hathaway is one of the top young athletes in Albuquerque. He'll compete this summer for a spot in the RB rotation for the Bears. Exceptional speed. Also an outstanding baseball player.

[player_tooltip player_id='1684748' first='Jermy' last='Jones'], Tucumcari: Jones is an elite two-sport athlete for the Rattlers. He scored 40 points in a basketball game this winter. In the fall, he'll likely be a major contributor at defensive back.

[player_tooltip player_id='1684446' first='Juaquin' last='Nunez'], Rio Rancho: Nunez should be key piece in Rio Rancho's defense in 2025. In fact, he's expected to start for the Rams. He'll probably be joined by another rising sophomore – [player_tooltip player_id='1684490' first='Remington' last='Smith']. Smith was outstanding in last Saturday's 7x7 Tournament at Fort Lewis College.

[player_tooltip player_id='1668839' first='Zander' last='Salisbury'], Cibola: Along with offensive linemates [player_tooltip player_id='1684440' first='Isaac' last='Branch'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1684443' first='Devon' last='Love'], Salisbury is a major part of Cibola's youth movement along the offensive front. Don't be surprised if all three aforementioned rising sophomores earn starting jobs for the Cougars.

[player_tooltip player_id='1684744' first='Brody' last='Rodriguez'], Artesia: The Bulldogs have produced several next level linebackers in recent years and Rodriguez has the potential to be very good. Great work ethic. One of multiple sophomores who could contribute to Artesia this season, joining QB/RB [player_tooltip player_id='1684751' first='Demi' last='Aguilar'] in that group.

[player_tooltip player_id='1684397' first='Bruin' last='Shawver'], Cleveland: Described by his coach as an ‘up-and-comer,' the 5-foot-10, 155-pound Shawver is competing to become Cleveland's No. 2 RB in 2025. Shawver was outstanding last season for the Storm JV team. He's also an outstanding lacrosse player.

[player_tooltip player_id='1684448' first='Brayden' last='Velarde'], Albuquerque High: Velarde is a promising newcomer to a potentially productive Albuquerque High WR corps. He showed last season that he has elite catch-and-run abilities. Could make a significant impact as a sophomore in 2025.

[player_tooltip player_id='1684497' first='Noah' last='Zubiate-Sanchez'], Organ Mountain: Promising newcomer to Organ Mountain's defensive line. Great mobility. He's opened eyes with his work during the off-season. Potential break through player in Las Cruces.
