We wrap up our coverage of the inaugural Lake Show Mega Camp at UW-Oshkosh with one last collection of skill position talent with a little OL talk sprinkled in at the end. Today's group is another cross-section of the impressive display of talent that was in attendance posting eye-catching numbers and making some impressive plays during live 1v1s. Today's group is primarily focused on the Class of 2026. It is a group that has just started to see things take off on the recruiting side of things and a big reason why is what they showed back on the 6th in Oshkosh. So, let's talk about it!

One of my favorite physical DBs in the Class of 2026 came to play at the Lake Show. He checked in at 5'9" 166 lbs, ran 4.75 in the 40, had a 32.3" vertical, and most importantly we saw that physical play style dominate on the field. Carter plays much bigger than his listed size. He had no hesitation about stepping up and pressing at the line and forcing WRs to earn their release. On top of the physicality, Carter also proved to be a next level athlete with how well he could stick to his man throughout a route thanks to his quick feet and reactive athleticism to breaks. The way he attacked at the catch point also stood out from the crowd. This is the type of physicality needed to go to battle out wide in coverage as well as also be relied upon in run support. Simonique only boosted my confidence that he can play at the next level with his performance.

One of my favorite new TEs on my radar is the Wausau West incoming senior. We wrote about him earlier this offseason, and getting to see him live further solidified my fandom for his game. The 6'3" 210 lbs '26 ran 4.81 in the 40, also had a 4.53 shuttle, and a 7.63 L-Drill. The big athlete impressed with his smooth route running and releases off the line of scrimmage. On his '24 tape we see so much of his impact as a blocker. In Oshkosh we got more of a look at the other half of the job requirement, receiving ability. Shea offers a big target area. He can catch the ball away from his body with soft hands and showed the concentration to make the catch through a tight window and also muscle the catch through traffic. The Mega Camp performance has boosted my confidence in his ability to work his way into a traditional TE role as he packs on size at the next level.

One of my favorite speedsters in WI is 2027 Charlie Blevins. The 5'8 162 lbs incoming junior RB solidified that ideology of himself with a blazing 4.41 40 yard dash, along with other great numbers like a 30 foot triple broad, 33.2" vertical, 4.16 shuttle and 7.47 L-Drill. Charlie has developed a game-changing athletic base that can get him out of trouble and produce big plays in tight spaces or out in space. He is a kid that you have to contain right from the snap or he will make you pay. I can't wait to see what he does on the field as a junior this fall. He has big time mismatch potential.

In an absolutely loaded LB Class, Izaiah has done well putting himself out there and standing out. The 6'2" 210 lbs incoming senior has the strong frame you look for in up and coming LB recruits. Izaiah also showed the athletic side with a 4.87 40, 31" vertical, 4.59 shuttle, and 7.41 L-Drill. Sheftgen played like a three down LB in his '24 highlights, and also looked like one in a rep to rep basis at the camp. He can turn and run, slide laterally, and close quickly in space. Mark this kid down as one of the steals of this position. Get on him now.

Jared has had a strong offseason on the recruiting side of things. He has multiple offers from the D2 and D3 levels. That includes an offer from Oshkosh following the Mega Camp. It is easy to see why they, and others, are such a fan of the versatile WR/DB. He ran a 4.68 40, 4.41 shuttle, and a 7.63 L-Drill all at 6'1" 180 lbs. The incoming senior is a playmaker out wide too. He is a smooth route runner and does a great job of playing the ball in the air. His ability to adjust last second, reel in the ball at awkward body positions, and his ability to attack the ball at the high point and protect it while coming down with it shine in person and on his '24 tape. I'm confident the '26 could play either side of the ball, and that versatility on top of his athleticism only boosts his stock.

Kettle Moraine's '26 QB [player_tooltip player_id='700023' first='Caden' last='Jurci'] had a really good day. I talked to a few staffs that wanted to get eyes on him and liked what they saw. So did I. It started with his combine where he ran 4.72 in the 40, jumped 32.5" in the vertical, ran a 4.32 shuttle, and a 4.75 L-Drill. It is clear that Caden brings a reliable, dangerous dual threat ability to the field. The athleticism carried over to the field where he made impressive throws on the rollout while still being able to drive the football. From the pocket he also impressed with his quick release and the velocity he could put behind the ball on his short-intermediate throws. His accuracy even while throwing to new receivers also was impressive as he clearly knew where he wanted to put the ball and was able to place it over and over to those spots. Don't sleep on the '26 QB.

We wrap things up with a look at an OL who caught my eyes before they even put pads on. That was [player_tooltip player_id='1546521' first='Parker' last='Murawski'] of Muskego. The 6'4" 282 lbs '26 OL definitely looked the part of a collegiate OL recruit. Even among his fellow offensive linemen. Along with the elite frame and length, Parker really impressed with the med-ball toss. The power he was able to create from his feet to his hips to his hands vastly stood out from the crowd. His ability to drive his hips through and force the ball several feet further than the rest of the group he was in quickly grabbed my attention and the other coaches watching the group work. Watching through his clips from the day and talking to others that were able to watch the padded portion it is clear that the power carried over to that part of the day as well. It was an impressive day for one of the top OL in the state.
