Section Four: Howard and Konrad Headline Five Athletes To Watch

Standing at 6'4" 220-pounds, Howard is the perfect size for the TE position. The leader of the Susquehanna Valley squad can gain weight to improve blocking and physically, but it is not needed.   Howard is an elusive target who is hard to tackle and excels in the open field. His ball tracking skills are elite as he has a keen sense for racking up catches. He has solid hands and excels at catching balls away from his body or 50/50 like balls. Competition looks below average in this area of NY.   Howard runs with power and is a sturdy target for any team. With competition being poor, coaches will want to see traits improve before reaching the next level.      Listed as a TE, EDGE, Konrad can play on both sides of the ball. His 6'2" 205-pound frame leaves him with a solid size for both positions.   As an EDGE, Konrad has a powerful rush with a quick first step allowing him to impact nearly every play. He excels in reading the QB and making the correct move to impact a play. He does not have a wide tool bag of moves, which he should look to improve.   As a TE, Konrad has soft hands making almost every catch seem easy. While film on this side of the ball is limited, he has solid speed and is a hard to tackle pass catcher.   At the next level, he projects as an EDGE. He is a natural ball hawk, who with some coaching can make his presence known at the next level.      Standing at 5'11" 175-pounds, the Maine-Endwell QB is a dual sport athlete who also plays basketball. Listed as an ATH/ QB Ocker excels as a dual-threat passer.   Most his plays are from outside the pocket as he excels on throws on the run. He has a quick release pairing with a tight spiral throw which is hard to find on throws during movement. Ocker is a speed threat who excels in the Option game and can become a serious threat at the next level in this aspect. Ball placement is elite.   He has an elite IQ and reads a defense like clock work. His accuracy and arm strength are visible on each play as he can hit throws to both hashmarks of the field. Ocker is an underrated prospect with a tool bag for success.      Film on Beeman is limited; however, he is a physically gifted athlete. Standing at 6'1" 255-pounds, he is also a wrestler where his physicality is on full display.   His strength is on full display in film as he excels in bull rushing lineman and creating havoc with his outstanding frame. He has the ability to become a Guard and can play on the line using his size to create gaps in run plays and thwart defenders in pass protection.   Beeman is a solid prospect with a great frame. while film on him is limited he displays tools needed for success.      Barton is the first player appearing on our Watchlist. The 5'9" 155-pound player has an undersized frame for the football field. Listing as an ATH, he can play both the S and WR positions.   He projects as a WR who does display traits In the secondary. He has an elite ball tracking ability with solid hands allowing him to make catches look easy. He can lineup in the slot or on the outside creating mismatches with his speed and separation. Despite his size, he has the ability to make catches through contact and while contested.   Barton is a solid prospect who will receive his first ranking in the next rendition of the rankings.
