With an admirable sophomore season, Riphin set the stage for what could very well be a dominant junior campaign in 2025. He delivered 30.5 tackles (17 solo, 2.5 TFL) with an 80-yard Pick-6, two fumble recoveries and a half sack. Riphin's 10th-grade highlight video supports the statistics. It only contains several clips, but they tell the story of a defender with good instincts and discipline. Operating in the zone, Riphin takes care of his area, keeping eyes one the quarterback and breaking on the ball. He diagnoses plays quickly and holds up well in run support.

Richardson followed up a 51.5-tackle freshman season in 2023 with a 72.0-tackle performance last year. Chances are excellent that he'll be someone the opposition will look to avoid this coming fall. Richardson logged 43 solo tackles, 11.0 tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks and a pair of fumble recoveries as a 10th-grader, adding six offensive touchdowns to the cause. Highlights on his Hudl page reveal how he makes plays. Richardson gashes defenses running the rock and in catching it. On defense, he's relentless, flying to the football and arriving at it with impact. You can tell he's prepared from his pre-snap reads.

On a veteran team with a lot of talent, Nebo made the most of his opportunities on the varsity in 2024. The sophomore delivered six solo tackles and intercepted a pass. The performance set the stage for what could be a breakout season for Nebo this fall. When watching his 10th-grade highlights, we witness a locked in defensive back and a very dangerous kick returner. Nebo looks comfortable at slot corner with the skills for covering and stepping up against the run. He embraces the game's physicality. Nebo also shows potential as a versatile offensive player, capable of doing a lot of damage in space.

Navarro got his feet wet with varsity reps as a sophomore in 2024. Those experiences and reps on the junior varsity should have him poised for a breakout during this coming campaign. His 10th-grade highlight video contains a disruptive force on the defensive line. Blasting off at the snap, Navarro plays with a good pad level, which helps him use strength to overpower opponents. Add to that a good amount of quickness, and Navarro also eludes blocks and can chase down the ball. If he takes another step forward through offseason work, more people will know his name in 2025.

As a sophomore last season, O'Rourke set the school record with 15 passing touchdowns. He threw for more than 1,500 yards, and rushed for 277 more with seven scores. During his 10th-grade highlight video, O'Rourke displays the dual-threat ability his statistics would suggest. He can throw on the move, sell the play-fake and get the ball down the field. Fitting the mold of a versatile quarterback needed against today's athletic defenses, O'Rourke's progress should be monitored during the next two years.

Wolfswinkel proved as a sophomore that he's a well-rounded offensive guard, one on which to keep an eye moving forward. His 10th-grade highlight video establishes him as a physical blocker whose athleticism and quick feet also make him effective in space. Sioux Center pulls him on outside runs, when he can hit the opponent with momentum. Most of the clips on tape are of run-blocking, at which he excels. While there's not a lot of pass-pro footage, his skill set would lead one to believe he can handle it.
