Region IDs: 5 New Names From Montgomery Area

Here are a few new names catching my eye from the Montgomery area.    It's my first look at emerging DT prospect [player_tooltip player_id='283568' first='Elijah' last='Peake'], who has tacked on several FBS offers this offseason, and I expect that list to grow. Short, stout, strong frame and a clear IDL projection who plays a few different shades on tape. He has elite play strength and is a wrecker at the point of attack. He instantly knocks blockers backwards and threatens the integrity of the offensive front. He can play the role of plugger, but is also a prolific pass rusher from the interior. He flashes a hot motor getting after the QB and has functional athleticism for his size. Peake threw the discus 86' 07'' this spring.     Productive big-bodied back who already looks like a college RB. Not a back with the speed to run away from people, but rather a cloud of dust runner who can drive through contact. He is hard to bring down and requires attention from several tacklers. He isn't afraid to drop his shoulder and run through defenders. He is slick and shifty for his size and keeps his feet active, helping him bounce plays back outside and find available yards. High floor small school prospect.     Big-bodied prospect built beyond his years mass-wise. Plays a lot of RT, but projects best as a guard given his dimensions. Powerful player who can stall defenders and steer them off their feet at the point of attack. Functional athlete with good balance and hand play in his pass set. High floor player due to his play strength. Should generate some D1 attention down the line.     Friendly is a low-key football prospect with intriguing physical traits and impressive multi-sport context. Friendly is a three-sport athlete, playing baseball and is also a noteworthy basketball player in Alabama. He has a gigantic catch radius and is a good enough athlete as is, although he is still filling out and getting his feet under him. He flashes some acceleration when working over the middle of the field. Proves difficult to bring down after the catch. Breakout candidate this fall who is certainly worthy enough of D1 attention from an eye-test perspective.     Williams is a versatile gadget playmaker on offense with experience operating in the slot and out of the backfield. He is a yards-after-catch machine and can be trusted to create his own yards. He is light on his feet and flashes some impressive short-area quickness, which he pairs with good peripheral vision to pinpoint and take advantage of running lanes. He has adequate straight line speed and ran 11.38 in the 100M in 2024. Williams is hard to tackle in a phone booth and proves it on tape.   *Williams now plays at Prattville*
