Recruiting: UTEP, UNM offer 2027 St. Pius X RB

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>2027 St. Pius X running back [player_tooltip player_id='1154954' first='Hershul' last='Olloway'] made the four-hour trip to El Paso for Monday night's West Texas Showcase camp at the Sun Bowl in El Paso.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>It turned out to be a very good decision.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Soon after the camp ended, Olloway was offered by the UTEP coaches. Olloway is one of the fastest players in New Mexico and that blazing speed clearly impressed the Miner coaches. It's his first Division 1 offer.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>About 24 hours later, Olloway was offered by New Mexico for his second D1 offer.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Olloway recently won the Class 4A state championship in the 100 meters, running a blazing 10.67 seconds in the preliminary round. He also ran the anchor leg on St. Pius X's state championship 4x100 relay team.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Olloway rushed for over 1,700 yards and 21 TD as a sophomore for the Sartans in 2024.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>He was one of several NM prospects to attend Monday night's UTEP camp.
