- After a consistent camp showing last Sunday at our #PRZTN Summer Showcase, Stephens walked away as the quarterback MVP and a prospect I must follow harder going into the Fall football year. Some of his best work at the camp came during his positional work where Stephens displayed good footwork and deceptive pocket mobility. He then proceeded to show off his accuracy during 1 on 1 competition, placing the ball on time and position for his receiver to run after the catch. The Mustangs signal caller does need to continue adding more strength to his right arm but I like the high football knowledge and competitiveness here with Stephens, which shows me he could be in-store for a big senior year.

- Even though this Memphis based prospect did not come away as running back MVP, I still thought McFadden was one of the better offensive performers at camp last Sunday and someone that could be ready for a breakout senior year. He showed outstanding initial quickness and long speed along some of the best pass catching hands from his position at camp. McFadden ran a good 40 time and tested well overall while also being one of the best during positional work. The Saints senior back capped off his day displaying excellent athleticism in the pass game, showing strong hands and good separation. McFadden does need to keep adding more weight to help his cause but he definitely made an impression that may boost his PRZTN ranking.

‘27 (RB) [player_tooltip player_id='904925' first='Jayden' last='McKnight'] - Stewarts Creek

- Consistency is the key word when talking about this guy's performance last Sunday at the #PRZTN Summer Showcase. McKnight had a clean day from start to finish where he tested well then proceeded to put in good work during the positional drills and into 1 on 1 competition. The RedHawks junior ran one of the fastest forties (4.56) at camp, displaying his explosive traits that translate well to the college game. McKnight also proved to be one of the better pass catching running backs at camp. This is a versatile ball carrier that showed home run capabilities and the skill set to cause damage in the open field. McKnight will certainly be a Mid-TN product that I keep eyes on during the upcoming Fall season.

‘28 (RB) [player_tooltip player_id='1133753' first='DeSean' last='Burnette'] - Lakeland Prep

- One of the biggest standouts from the entire Showcase was this Memphis area running back that put forth a great performance that earned him MVP honors for his position. Burnette was a steady performer throughout the entire camp that displayed nice balance, solid footwork and the ability to catch the ball out of the backfield and do all these things on a consistent basis. Just a sophomore, Burnette already has a well built physical frame that will allow him to run between the tackles. He showed flashes of good speed during the Showcase that can be enhanced further and push his game to another level. Moving to Lakeland Prep should give Burnette a chance to start this year and begin building his stock as a top back coming out of the greater Memphis area.

(WR) [player_tooltip player_id='540040' first='Oliver' last='Bender'] - Nolensville

- A familiar name to our Showcase system, Bender returned for his final appearance and put forth possibly his best performance yet. The Knights senior wideout earned MVP honors after a consistent, steady day that displayed a variety of skills from his strong hands to his solid route running and his deceptive speed (Ran a 4.6 during testing). Bender is an intriguing talent that could develop himself into a flex tight end in college. He has the height and length for it along with the athleticism to become a mismatch in the slot against smaller defensive backs. It will be interesting to see how Bender progresses this Fall because I can finally see his potential starting to form together.

(WR) [player_tooltip player_id='1326260' first='Brody' last='Rogers'] - Knox. Halls

- Possibly the most versatile prospect we had at camp last weekend was this Knoxville based talent that had a stellar day displaying his abilities at receiver. Rogers is a multi-talented guy that is coming off a highly productive junior season that saw him put up serious numbers on both sides of the ball. His work on Sunday helped continue building his stock in my eyes as Rogers could find a role in college at receiver due to his quick feet, good route running and strong hands. The Red Devils senior may have some of the best hands from the senior class. Rogers can continue building a case for him this Fall to play offense in college with speed enhancement and another productive campaign that shows off his unique, versatile skill set.

(WR) [player_tooltip player_id='244591' first='Eli' last='Bell'] - Page

- Going into the #PRZTN Showcase, Bell was already a guy on my radar that has tons of versatility that could be utilized at multiple positions but for Sunday, the new Page senior did his work at receiver. He performed very well and showed why he could become a college wideout one day. The Patriots playmaker did a good job of using his natural athletic abilities and speed to get out of his breaks fast and create separation and an open target for his quarterback. Bell is bigger and taller than I thought, which to me helps his stock. Even if receiver doesn't work out in college, I could see this Mid-Tennessee talent developing at either running back or safety. That's how athletic and versatile Bell is and how much upside he brings to the field.

‘27 (WR) [player_tooltip player_id='1586188' first='Brayden' last='Sharpe'] - Anderson Co.

- Sunday at the #PRZTN Summer Showcase was a bit of a coming out party for this East Tennessee product that ran some of the best routes of all receivers at camp while displaying some of the best footwork as well. Sharpe is an athletic guy that gets to the top of his route and breaks off quickly into open space. He displayed excellent concentration along with strong hands and the ability to both work out of the slot or on the outside. I do think Sharpe's game works best inside where he can use his speed and quick feet to consistently get open. The Mavs junior wideout is undersized with weight but he has time to add on the needed size to sustain on the field and boost his stock over the coming two years.

‘27 (WR) [player_tooltip player_id='1529629' first='DeVaughn' last='Cantrell'] - Pope Prep

- Keep ears and eyes out for this 6'3 190 plus pound rising junior that performed very well at our #PRZTN Summer Showcase and displayed tremendous potential for the college game. The first thing you like about this Nashville is his look and overall size. Cantrell looks the part of an eventual college guy and he performed like one too. The Knights junior did a good job of using his physicality to come down with receptions while displaying deceptive speed that can increase over time. His height and length proved to be an issue for defenders as well. Cantrell has work to do with his agility and route running but the raw athletic tools are there to eventually become a much wanted prospect by FCS or D1 programs.

(OL) [player_tooltip player_id='1637967' first='Caden' last='Thacker'] - Pikeville (Ky)

- Coming down from the Bluegrass State to compete at the #PRZTN Showcase, Thacker had an impressive day as he earned MVP honors after a strong performance that displayed his athleticism, grit and position versatility. This guy is well built with a nice frame that can push on more weight over time along with the lower base mobility to potentially play tackle on the college level. Thacker started off strong during testing then proceeded to excel in positional work and nearly dominate throughout 1 on 1 competition. Watching this guy perform, I don't know why he is under the radar so much but hopefully after a strong camp season and a stellar senior year, Thacker could see his recruitment take-off.
