Region I-4A has a little bit of everything. It's QB heavy in places, there are a ton of speedy and rugged skill guys, and defenders are capable of setting the tone on that side of the ball. There's also a good mix of guys who are making the most of their experience as well as players who are stepping into new roles.

Here's a look at the players we think can shine as their team's 2025 MVP.

Emerald Vikings

[player_tooltip player_id='1467847' first='Beau' last='Hite'] QB, 2028

Hite took over the QB job for the Vikings last season, and immediately showed why. He threw for more than 1,000 yards and eight touchdowns while leading Emerald to a playoff berth. Hite's a standout baseball player as well, and his athleticism and versatility shines through. He's got a big arm, can move, and is only going to get better.

Fountain Inn Fury

[player_tooltip player_id='429920' first='Sam' last='Holliday'] QB, 2027

Holliday (pictured) has been the starting QB for a whole ton of milestones for the Fury's young program. Now, he's looking to push the team even further. Holliday is a hard-nosed, rugged, dual-threat QB, combining for more than 2,500 yards of offense last season, including more than 1,000 on the ground. He accounted for 25 total touchdowns, and there's no doubt that he's the engine that makes it go for Fountain Inn.

Laurens Raiders

Nehemias Fernandez RB, 2026

Fernandez was a bright spot in a tough year for the Raiders last season, rushing for nearly 500 yards to lead the team. He's fast and he's strong, and he's really opened some eyes in the offseason with his numbers and performances in combines. Fernandez is a legit burner, and he'll be the key for the Raiders' offense.

Southside Tigers

Javier Latimer WR/DB, 2027

Latimer was a standout for the Tigers last season, leading the team in receiving and snagging four touchdowns while rushing for another. Southside was a young team at the skill positions last year, and Latimer's return should help the Tigers improve. He's an explosive guy with plenty of speed, and he's got good hands and is capable of making some physical plays in traffic.

Westside Rams

[player_tooltip player_id='1165096' first='Jaxx' last='Wilson'] LB, 2026

Wilson is one of the Rams' best returning defenders, and that side of the ball will be vital as Westside adjusts to life after the graduation of the bulk of an incredibly talented offensive unit. He's a tackle machine, with 199 in the past two seasons. He's fast, he's disruptive, and he's physical. Wilson has the rare talent of making everyone around him better, and that's just what the Rams will need this season. And if that's not enough, he plays TE and handles long snapping duties.

Wren Hurricanes

[player_tooltip player_id='663984' first='Carson' last='Bryant'] WR, 2027

Bryant led the Hurricanes in receiving a year ago, and will certainly look to be one of Wren's biggest offensive weapons again this year. He's served notice that he's got to be dealt with by turning in some standout times in combines, he's had a good offseason, and he's looking to take center stage for an offense with some good returning pieces.
