MVP Camp Standouts Part 1 (GA)

In its 15th year, the MVP Camp has become one of the most well-known and purposeful camps in not just the state of Georgia but in the Country. There have been many big names come through the MVP Camp that ended up being great at the College level and even the professional levels. Just to mention a couple of names, Derrick Henry and Trevor Lawerence among many others who have competed in this camp. To show just how big a deal this is to the ones who may not know, Fox 5 news out of Atlanta was there to cover it by doing a special on the camp and the impact it's had over the years. A current big name to mention that was featured on Fox 5 Sunday was [player_tooltip player_id='450408' first='Landon' last='Ghea']. Let's take a look at some of the ones who stood out at the camp on Sunday.    You could say that the most anticipated name at the MVP Camp was none other than one of the top prospects in all of the 2029 class, [player_tooltip player_id='450408' first='Landon' last='Ghea']. Landon was the featured player on Fox 5 Sports news out of Atlanta Georgia during the MVP Camp. Rightfully so, Ghea is a tremendous player, and he is only showing time and time again how special he is and can be. His size at the fresh out of 8th grade year going into his freshman year at National power, Milton High School. Ghea is expected to start LT as a freshman and it's because he's ready to make that jump because physically, mentally and all-around he is ready to ball on Friday nights. Ghea is a special player who will only continue getting better.     Lewis is a stud at the WR position. He gets open with his smooth route running ability and strong hands. He is a smooth player who plays with confidence. At the DB spot, he wasn't easy to get open on, a matter of fact, I don't think he allowed a single catch on him during the MVP camp. He's going to be a good one. Lewis was honored for an MVP honor.     [player_tooltip player_id='1398488' first='Athens' last='Davenport'] is an excellent player who has been productive and shows signs of elite as he continues to develop. Davenport is someone I have covered many times for great reason. His ability to run the ball is going to continue catching eyes as he shows the versatility at the running back position. He won an MVP honor Sunday at the MVP Camp @ Milton High School in Georgia.     [player_tooltip player_id='1107335' first='Trucker' last='Jordan'] walked away with an MVP honor Sunday at the MVP Camp and as he continues his development, he continues to show why he wins honors such as the MVP at the MVP Camp. [player_tooltip player_id='1107335' first='Trucker' last='Jordan'] is an excellent quarterback who can make all of the right plays to put his team in successful situations.     [player_tooltip player_id='1399520' first='Hudson' last='Kalb'] was honored with an MVP Sunday at the MVP camp. Kalb has shown every time he gets the chance of how good of an LB he is. His pursuit to the ball carrier is very strong and his ability to run stop or play in the pass game is equally as good. Kalb is going to be a force in the Peach State in the 2029 class.
