- Ranked as a current Top 15 quarterback for our #TN2026 class, Stansberry helped his cause in a big way at Friday's 7v7 tournament at Middle Tennessee State with a strong performance that displayed his improved arm strength and accuracy. The Wildcats senior signal caller has definitely improved his body and overall strength as Stansberry looked jacked. You could tell his enhanced strength has improved his arm power as Stansberry made several college level throws while showing better timing. Watching this East Tennessee quarterback perform yesterday definitely increased his stock in my eyes and will be a guy I follow further during the upcoming season.

‘27 (QB) [player_tooltip player_id='1286233' first='L.J.' last='Funk'] - Pearl Cohn

- Funk has been one of the fastest risers among the #TN2027 quarterbacks this off-season and yesterday at the MTSU 7v7 Tournament proved it as the Firebirds junior passer displayed a variety of skills that translate very well to the college game. The first thing about Funk that stood out was his cannon right arm. He was able to throw the ball on a rope, deep down the field and on time. On several occasions, the Firebirds quarterback displayed the confidence and poise to rip the ball into small windows, out in front for his receivers to continue running down field. Funk was quite impressive that he will definitely see a boost in not only his ranking here at #PRZTN but also his overall recruiting stock.

(RB) [player_tooltip player_id='1133241' first='Hunter' last='Uland'] - Cornersville (Club Team: Mid-TN Wolfpack)

- This Mid-Tennessee ball carrier continued his strong off-season by showing at MTSU that he is one of the better pass catching running backs we have in this state and the #TN2026 class. Throughout the day down in Murfreesboro, Uland was a weapon coming out of the backfield that ran a multitude of routes while displaying excellent hands while having defenders draped all over him. The Bulldogs senior allows himself to be good in the pass game due to his quick feet and understanding how to set up his routes coming out the backfield. This guy can run too as he showed separation after the catch on several occasions. Uland will remain under the radar for most of the process due to his status on the 1A level but trust me, this guy can play and he's highly coachable.

(RB) [player_tooltip player_id='1687175' first='Kavious' last='Record'] - Germantown

- One of the biggest surprises coming out of yesterday's 7v7 event was this Memphis area two-way talent that really had a standout day over on the offensive side of the ball. Throughout the entire day, Record made multiple high level receptions, mainly down the field that displayed his speed and outstanding hands. This guy looked comfortable catching the ball, especially with defenders near or on top of him. The Red Devils senior did show flashes on defense as well but I really liked how he performed at running back, which showed more depth to his game. He currently sits outside our rankings at the moment but will definitely be a guy that jumps at high during our next update.

(WR) [player_tooltip player_id='1635440' first='Marjaveon' last='Whitelow'] - Shelbyville Central

- Going into the MTSU 7v7 Tournament, I knew about this 6 '2 wideout out of Shelbyville but I wasn't sure how good he was until yesterday where Whitelow put on a show, especially as a threat in the red zone. The Golden Eagles senior had a stellar day as he was tough to guard for opposing defensive backs and a problem near the goal line. His size was a problem all day long but Whitelow also showed excellent concentration and hands amongst physical contact. He also showed deceptive release and speed off the line that helped him get down field quickly. More polish is needed for Whitelow but he definitely helped his cause yesterday and certainly boosted his stock.

(WR) [player_tooltip player_id='331829' first='Will' last='Pressley'] - Oak Ridge

- This future Miami Ohio Red Hawk was a standout performer in front of the MTSU coaching staff on Friday where he proved that he's one of the fastest in his class and a multi-talented pass catcher that can do a variety of things on the football field. Pressley used his size and speed to get through and past defenders most of the day while showing a mature route tree. The Wildcats senior receiver can run with the best of them in this state but Pressley is also a versatile guy that runs nice routes, can work out of the slot, can beat his man deep and even possibly develop into a return man on the college level. Already sitting inside our Top 60 in-state prospects, Pressley could easily become a Top 40 guy by the end of his senior year.

(WR) LaDamion Hunter - Pearl Cohn

- The Firebirds proved to be one of the better team's at yesterday's Middle Tennessee State 7v7 Tournament and a big reason why was this play of Hunter. This senior slot receiver was explosive, fast and very hard to deal with for opposing defensive backs. On several occasions throughout the event, Hunter proved to be the difference maker that the opposition could not find an answer for. His ability to get off the line fast and get behind the defense showed to be a major factor behind the Firebirds success. Hunter is undersized and under the radar but displayed a variety of athletic skills that could be utilized much further on the college level.

‘28 (TE) [player_tooltip player_id='1078776' first='Derrick' last='Dragoo'] - Blackman (Club Team: Mid-TN Wolfpack)

- One of the better overall performers I saw yesterday at the MTSU 7v7 Tourney was this rising sophomore flex tight end that caused problems for opposing defenses all day long. Dragoo was superb as a sure handed pass catcher that consistently found open, soft spots in the defense while displaying some of the best hands at the event. His work not only stood out in the short game but also proved to be a guy that could stretch the field. The Blaze tight end is still developing his game and growing his body but the ball skills, work ethic and football intelligence are definitely there to find his way into the college game one day.

‘27 (DB) [player_tooltip player_id='1571417' first='Anthony' last='Carnahan'] - Pearl Cohn

- Athletic and versatile with strong ball skills, Carnahan proved to be one of the better defensive back performers yesterday that should see his recruiting stock begin to take off throughout the Fall football season. The MTSU 7v7 Tournament was a good place for this Firebirds junior to put his talents on display and he performed very well. Carnahan did a good job of reading the quarterback and making quick decisions that usually ended with him breaking up passes. Versatility is a key word about Carnahan as well as I could see him excelling at either nickel or safety on the collegiate gridiron. It will be fun to watch this guy developing throughout the season, especially after his performance yesterday at MTSU.

(Ath) [player_tooltip player_id='1602182' first='Aiden' last='Bell'] - Portland (Club Team: Mid-TN Wolfpack)

- Sitting under the radar at the moment but sporting college level traits is this Mid-Tennessee product that used the MTSU 7v7 Tournament to boost his stock in front of the Blue Raiders coaching staff and he performed very well. The Panthers senior prospect worked both ways in Murfreesboro yesterday where he showed upside at both receiver and defensive back. Bell used his size on both sides of the ball, doing good stuff at receiver but it was his work on defense that impressed the MTSU coaches. He did a good job of running on path with the receiver or reading the pass and quickly breaking on the ball. Bell still has work to do for him to fulfill his potential but his work at MTSU was definitely a good move in the right direction.
