Amir Sameem – LB – Taravella High (c/o 2027)

5'8", 183 lbs
Stats: 98 tackles, 9 TFL, 1 sack, 1 fumble recovery

Evaluation: Sameem may be slightly undersized, but he plays with relentless energy and a high football IQ. His 98 tackles as a sophomore speak to his instincts and ability to find the ball quickly. He does a great job shedding blockers and playing low to the ground, using his leverage to his advantage. Sameem is a sure tackler in space and always seems to be around the football. As he continues to develop physically, expect him to attract recruiting interest due to his production and motor.

KJ Belamour Jr – LB – Barbara Goleman High (c/o 2028)

5'8", 180 lbs | 3.7 GPA
Stats: 71 tackles, 9 TFL, 4.5 sacks, 1 INT, 1 PBU, 1 FF, 1 FR
Offers: Graceland University, Barber-Scotia College

Evaluation: A future star in the making, Belamour led his team in tackles as a freshman, which is impressive by any standard. He displays outstanding anticipation and is already showing refined blitz timing and tackling mechanics. Despite his age, he's able to read offenses pre-snap and react quickly, often blowing up plays behind the line. His well-rounded stat line shows impact as both a run defender and pass disruptor. Definitely a name to follow closely through the next few seasons.

Edward Burns – OLB/DE – Taravella High (c/o 2026)

6'1", 215 lbs
Stats: 60 tackles, 9 TFL, 2 sacks, 1 blocked field goal

Evaluation: Burns brings physicality and effort off the edge. At 6'1", 215, he's built to play the strong-side backer or edge role and uses his hands well at the point of attack. His 9 tackles for loss show his burst and ability to shoot gaps. He's a consistent presence on the line of scrimmage and has the frame to continue adding mass. The blocked field goal adds value on special teams, further increasing his upside as a multi-phase contributor.

[player_tooltip player_id='1671157' first='Jaylyn' last='Jones'] – Safety – Western High (c/o 2027)

6'0", 182 lbs
Stats: 82 tackles, 3 INTs, 3 sacks, 14 PBUs, 1 forced fumble
Committed: University of Miami (June 23rd)

Evaluation: Jones is a true blue-chip safety prospect with elite range, ball skills, and tackling ability. He plays with a strong downhill presence but has the hips and speed to cover deep zones or match up with slot receivers. His 14 pass breakups and 3 INTs show his playmaking ability on the back end. He plays with confidence and has a physical edge in both coverage and run support. Already committed to Miami, he projects as a versatile safety who could thrive in both man and zone-heavy schemes.

[player_tooltip player_id='1671162' first='Sherrod' last='Gourdine'] – CB/ATH – Western High (c/o 2027)

5'11", 177 lbs
Stats: 70 tackles, 4 TFL, 4 sacks, 4 INTs, 15 PBUs
Recruiting: 12+ D1 Offers

Evaluation: Gourdine is an elite cover corner who brings physicality and aggression to the perimeter. With 15 pass breakups and 4 interceptions, he's a lockdown presence capable of shadowing WR1s. What makes him stand out is his toughness—he racks up tackles and contributes to the run game, as shown by his 4 sacks and TFLs. He has fluid hips, great change of direction, and elite instincts. A high-ceiling corner with versatility to play inside or outside.

Darryl Bell III – FS/ATH – Barbara Goleman High (c/o 2026)

6'0", 186 lbs
Stats: 51 tackles, 6 TFL, 3 sacks, 2 interceptions
Committed: Florida State

Evaluation: Bell is a versatile safety with a complete skill set. He flies downhill to fill the run lanes and can also range deep to make plays in the passing game. His ability to time blitzes (3 sacks) and still drop back in coverage (2 INTs) make him a well-rounded threat. Bell plays with excellent field vision, communicates well, and brings a physical tone to the secondary. FSU's early commitment speaks volumes about his upside and projection as a Power 5 impact player.
