Film Room Report: Post Grad Prospects coming to the NEPSAC

In this article I will evaluate 5 newcomers to New England Football prep school rosters. The NEPSAC is one of the most competitive conferences in the country and the addition of 3 players will add more firepower to an already highly talented prep school league. Colin is a fast and smooth WR that has the ability to make the big play. He tracks the ball well and uses his hands to catch the football when in traffic. The St. Thomas More WR has the ability to win one-on-one matchups and go up and get the football. He is equally as dynamic as a returner as he is as a WR. He shows good size and has ability to play multiple WR positions. [player_tooltip player_id='601928' first='Colin' last='Charles'] is hard to cover in man coverage. His red zone film was impressive with the way he was able to control his body and consistently win. The Northville High School (MI) transfer is a day one contributor for St. Thomas More in 2025.      Johnny is a speedy and shifty athlete who can make the big play at anytime. The West Springfield (MA) transfer, shows his speed and ability to catch the ball all 2024. He scores touchdowns in multiple fashions from the WR position and shows his dynamic playmaking ability off from any area of the field. Johnny has very good body control and tracks the ball well on both sides of the ball. He shows his vision both on kickoff return and when he runs in the open field. The new Avon Old Farms WR will be exciting to watching in the NEPSAC in 2025.      Zaire has a elite ball skills and great catch radius to track the football well down field. He is very fluid with his movements and shows an extra burst with the ball in his hands. Although he is slightly undersized, he consistently wins the one-on-one matchups and is a nightmare for opposing secondaries. Zaire is twitchy in and out of cuts and seems to pull away from defenders with ease. His elite speed and natural catching ability make him a true WR1. Spellman is able to play both inside and outside WR and return kickoffs, adding to his overall value as a player. The Archbishop Stepinac (NY) transfer will be an immediate playmaker for St. Thomas More.      Colin is a very well sized offensive linemen that shows great feet and speed at the point of attack. While playing in a mostly run based offense at Fairview HS (CO), Overy's skillset will transfer immediately to the NEPSAC style of football. The Taft School offensive linemen moves extremely well once engaged in blocks and has ability to finish. He shows his ability to be both an inline blocker and pull with speed and power. Colin is violent but under control. A very good athlete for his size, Colin will make an immediate impact for Taft School in 2025.      Tyler is a fast and shifty WR who although he is undersized, will fit into the slot WR role well for Taft School. He shows flashes of breakaway speed and ability to catch in traffic. Tyler shows to have good field awareness and ability to make the big play in critical situations. The Darien HS (CT) product will benefit from the higher level competition and ability to get the ball more often. His ability to get in an out of breaks make him tough to cover and allow him more space when catching the football. Spellman is dynamic playmaker and shows flashes of good speed and agility, will be excited for him to have a bigger role for Taft School this fall.
