Colin is a fast and smooth WR that has the ability to make the big play. He tracks the ball well and uses his hands to catch the football when in traffic. The St. Thomas More WR has the ability to win one-on-one matchups and go up and get the football. He is equally as dynamic as a returner as he is as a WR. He shows good size and has ability to play multiple WR positions. Colin Charles Colin Charles 6'1" | 180 lbs | WR St. Thomas More | 2026 State New E is hard to cover in man coverage. His red zone film was impressive with the way he was able to control his body and consistently win. The Northville High School (MI) transfer is a day one contributor for St. Thomas More in 2025.

Colin and his Northville squad roll into week 3 with some confidence after a huge week 2 win over Plymouth 35-7. They have a formidable foe on the other side in Brighton, and a lot of the Northville offense will be run through Charles. He’s an All-State caliber player who is getting a lot of looks at the D1 level, deservedly so. I am pumped to see how he shines in this big game and what kind of damage he can deal to Brighton’s defense.

D1 schools are offering at a pretty high rate, and I think this fall could be one for the ages for Colin. He’s one of the most explosive playmakers we have to offer in the state. Every time he gets the rock it has the potential to be a touchdown. Colin is athletic receiver who can get behind a defense quickly, and he does a good job of winning jump balls especially in the redzone. I really like his really high ceiling and am expecting a big time 2024 season.

One might ask how Colin could take off even more this offseason since he’s already garnered a ton of recent D1 attention. Well, I’ve seen prospects like him garner similar attention before their senior season, then during the offseason before Senior year, their recruitments explode. Colin has proven to be one of the most athletic, most explosive playmakers in the entire class. He completely outperformed my expectations of him, and may garner several more MAC offers this summer, maybe even breaking into the B1G 10.

Colin was the talk of the state for a while last fall. Northville as a whole took a big step up last season, and Colin was a huge part of that. He’s another receiver who’s versatile and can make things happen in the open field. He’s one of the best return men in Michigan and can turn the tide of a game with his route running and playmaking.
