At a recent 7v7 camp, several standout athletes showcased their skills and athleticism—each bringing something unique to the table. From a dynamic wide receiver/defensive back with a remarkable catch radius, to a versatile tight end with soft hands and playmaking ability, to a disciplined safety who reads the game like a veteran, and a poised quarterback with a strong arm and accurate deep ball—the future looks bright. These players, fueled by Coach Robinson's leadership, are primed to build on the team's legacy and push for big things this season.    I had the chance to see this kid up close at a 7v7 camp, and it didn't take long to realize he's a pure athlete who can take over a game from either side of the ball. As a wide receiver, he was practically unguardable—his freakish catch radius and elite-level ball skills were on full display. Every time the ball was in the air, it felt like it was already his. He turned routine throws into jaw-dropping grabs, winning jump balls with ease and making tough catches look effortless. Whether it was a deep ball down the sideline or a tough pass over the middle, he attacked it with confident, glue-like hands. Even when defenders had tight coverage, he showed the body control and toughness to come down with the catch—turning 50/50 balls into 80/20 in his favor every time.   In the red zone, he was an automatic mismatch. His leaping ability and timing made him the top target near the goal line, hauling in jump balls like they were layups. He ran crisp, polished routes—slants, fades, outs—and created separation with ease. What stood out most was his ability to take an ordinary play and turn it into something special. He didn't just catch passes—he snatched them out of the air like they were meant for him alone and then looked to get extra yards. Defensively, that same playmaker mentality carried over. He broke on the ball with urgency, competed for every pass like it was his, and brought an energy that fired up his teammates. The coaches were locked in on him all day, and for good reason—he's a highlight reel waiting to happen.     I saw this kid at a 7v7 camp, and he immediately stood out. Lining up at running back and in the slot, he showed off his versatility and elite hands. Whether it was catching swing passes out of the backfield or running sharp routes from the slot, he looked natural and confident. His ability to track the ball and secure tough catches in stride was impressive, especially against tight coverage. You could tell right away he wasn't just a run-first back—he's a complete offensive weapon. He's got smooth footwork, a strong frame, and the kind of patience that translates well to real game situations.   What really caught my eye, though, was when he stepped over to play linebacker. Even in a non-contact setting like 7v7, his instincts were obvious. He read the quarterback well, closed space quickly, and made it tough for running backs and tight ends to find openings. He communicated like a leader and brought intensity every rep. Seeing a player who can dominate on both sides of the ball, especially in a competitive camp environment, says a lot about his talent and work ethic. He's the type of guy who doesn't need pads on to prove he can play—he just does.     I saw this tight end at a 7v7 camp, and from the first few reps, he made it clear he was different. Whether it was a quick out, a seam route, or a contested ball in traffic, he hauled it in effortlessly. He made life easy for his quarterback, always finding open space and using his frame to shield defenders. In red zone situations, he was a clear mismatch—. Once the ball was in the air, it was his, and he made sure of it every time.   Beyond the hands and size, what really stood out was his ability to make plays after the catch. He wasn't just a possession guy—he made defenders miss and turned short gains into chunk plays. His awareness and field vision were sharp, always knowing where the sticks were and how to get extra yards. He played with confidence, brought energy to every rep, and was vocal in a good way—encouraging teammates, taking coaching, and competing hard. Watching him work, it was easy to see that he's not just a big target—he's a true playmaker. He's the kind of tight end that can be a security blanket and a game-breaker all in one.     At the 7v7 camp, I was a player that looked very impressive. This is a safety who played his position with poise, discipline, and high-level instincts. From the moment the games started, he showed a clear understanding of his role—reading the quarterback's eyes, staying disciplined in his backpedal, and breaking on the ball with confidence. He didn't bite on fakes, didn't get caught out of position, and consistently put himself in the right spots to make plays. Whether it was closing down on a deep ball or jumping a route underneath, he always seemed one step ahead.   What really stood out was his communication and leadership on the back end. He was vocal, helping line up his teammates, calling out coverage adjustments, and keeping the secondary locked in. He played fast but never out of control, showing great range and recovery speed when the ball was in the air. In one-on-one moments, he held his own and even baited a few quarterbacks into throws that he made them regret. You could tell he loves the game—he competed every rep and made it clear he takes pride in doing the little things right. In a camp full of athletes, he stood out by simply being a true safety—smart, steady, and always in the right place at the right time. While there's still work to do as the season progresses, his timing and ball placement were solid foundations to build on. With his natural leadership and the support of his head coach, this quarterback has a high ceiling. He's clearly a player who can grow into a true field general, capable of making all the throws and leading his team down the field with confidence.
