Eastern KY 26s to Watch: OL

With that in mind, I wanted to take some time to highlight some incoming seniors in specific areas of the state of Kentucky. To continue these series, I will be taking the next week to highlight some incoming seniors at each position in Eastern Kentucky. He is a versatile offensive tackle who has shown the ability to play on both the right and left side. Pittman is a dominant run blocker, showing the ability to drive his man down the field with ease and finish his blocks with a ton of physicality. He has also proven to be reliable in pass protection, showing the footwork to mirror opposing pass rushers off the edge effectively. He lines up at right tackle where he is very impressive as a run blocker. Wolford does a great job of running his feet through contact to create movement off the line of scrimmage. He has also shown the ability to get up to the second level with a sense of urgency and pick up blocks in the open field. Wolford has also shown promise as a pass blocker, showing the ability to mirror opposing pass rushers and keep a strong base while absorbing contact, not allowing much penetration into the pocket. As a run blocker, he has shown an impressive ability to pick up blocks in the open field and use his physical punch to knock defenders off their feet with ease. In pass protection, Hinkle keeps a very strong base while taking on contact, not allowing for much penetration into the pocket. Hoskins lines up at center where he is very reliable as a run blocker. He does a great job of getting the snap off quickly then stepping to his man and gaining strong inside position with his hands. Once he is locked in, Hoskins has shown the ability to drive his man down the field with ease and finish his blocks quickly, resulting in frequent pancake blocks. Philpot lines up at left tackle where he is a dominant force as a run blocker. He does a great job of using his long arms to his advantage to gain extension on the opposing defender then using his leg drive to create movement off the line of scrimmage. Zachary has also shown the ability to pull from the tackle spot and destroy any defender in his path as a lead blocker. In pass protection, he has shown impressive footwork which he uses to mirror opposing pass rushers with ease. Philpot currently holds offers from Grambling State, Glenville State, Union, and Franklin, and I expect more to come his way as he definitely has the talent to play at the next level. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
