<p>To the best of my knowledge, I know two things to be true when it comes to player rankings. First, Prep Redzone is the industry leader in state-by-state depth when it comes to rankings. Second, Prep Redzone New Jersey – <em>specifically</em> – is the unabashed leader in sharing our evaluation ranking notes.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-table"><table class="has-fixed-layout"><tbody><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1557918' first='Owen' last='Stecker'] 6'0" 195 LB Northern Highlands</td><td>Quick when performing gap exchanges, is able to redirect his path quickly as well to keep his contain target; will walk out and cover #2, presses, gets hands on them well and sheds to make plays; patient for cutbacks; would desire him to play a little more down hill; can insert to B gap when walked out to C; breaks on the ball well, keeps his coverage leverage; have not seen hip movement on film; well coached, quality player</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1270236' first='Patrick' last='Degnan'] 6'4" 275 OL Seneca</td><td>Interior tackle, runs around blocks; chases pullers, but gets a bit too far in to the backfield; can beat a cut off block; pulling guard, good skip pull, moves well, gets too high; looks like he has a strong upper body; squeezes when unblocked; down blocks is violent and nasty, fires out and into the person's body; has a better burst on defense; shows flashes at time; pad level and height cuases him to not dominate every down, like he has shown flashes of doing</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1551259' first='Peter' last='Berardi'] 6'1" 210 LB Holmdel</td><td>Works hands upward and over head when engaged with linemen; has a burst when he moves, like his closing speed; really good tackler, able to profile and leverage; attacks ball if he cannot get home to quarterback; seems to delay blitz often, or just shoot the open gap; reads keys, but not quick enough to get down hill - he gets to his spots over the top; does not use periferial vision well yet - runs into work often when trying to read keys; no coverage clips</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1476917' first='PJ' last='Sicoli'] 5'11" 180 ATH Millburn</td><td>Quarterback, runs with a forward lean and cradles the ball, does not pin it; able to roll out and throw an accurate ball about 30 yards down field; runs upright; ball is pretty; loads a bit much; some of the play designs have him spinning around with his back to the defense often; have not seen him throw all that much</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1476865' first='Quinton' last='Fisher'] 5'11" 185 ATH Long Branch</td><td>Does not need a 9 minute highlight; some of the film is very difficult to see because it is not zoomed in and unsteady; needs to get ball to his outside arm when rushing; release is a bit short, not compact, but just short; appears to know where he wants to go with the ball before it is thrown; wind up is slow on some throws; do not think he is a quarterback prospect, just his team's best athlete trying to make things happen for his team; a good runner, not all that elusive</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1524820' first='Ralph' last='Langone'] 6'0" 210 DL Mendham</td><td>Will work arm, over off of the snap; does a nice job of fighting one pass protector and then retartgeted to the next; pushes the pocket when doubled, then bails to pursuit; hard to block when he slants into the gap; film is a bit tough to see for further evaluation</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1513546' first='Randall' last='Blount'] 5'11" 200 RB Pennsauken</td><td>Runs with forward lean; can gallop and gain ground, making horizontal cuts in the process; instinctual as a runner in terms of getting in and out of danger - will spin and shake, reverse field; just when I think he will get caught, he manages to out run pursuit and score; reads things well as a linebacker, physical too; tackling technique can improve; shown some balance along the sideline and when turning a tight cut to up field; ball needs to switch hands; do not think he is 200lbs, maybe 180; want to see him get his legs up a bit higher to avoid low tackles you'd expect him to break;</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1055398' first='Remello' last='Erickson'] 6'0" 175 QB Penns Grove</td><td>Solid high school option at quarterback; goes with his #1 read often, trusts his teammates to make a play on the ball; can evade danger; typically bthrows the ball high, on the top shelf for his teammates; can place the ball a bit better so his guys can catch and run, stop, adjust, catch, start, then run</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1599625' first='Richard' last='Pierce'] 5'11" 185 RB Cumberland</td><td>Tailback, tempts outside to set up inside cut back up the middle; look at making pressure cuts upfield when he sees a hole; a scamper-type runner, unsure of top speed; follows his blockers; has some balance, will use his body, as a weapon to plow ahead; uses the full field when he is running, cuts back and forth at any moment; makes many cuts at level 2/3 tomake people miss; pins ball to chest as danger looms</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1538520' first='Richie' last='Trotman'] 6'0" 200 QB JFK Iselin</td><td>Will throw to a receiver depsite him not being open or creating separation; appears to lock on to one receiver; tries to get his all on th ball, struggles some with further throws; ok when over the middle, want to see mor elead and more juice on his tosses; sort of just uncorks the ball when throwing it deep</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='284073' first='Rob' last='Carstarphen'] 5'11" 230 DL Winslow</td><td>No need for an 11 minute highlight tape; interior lineman; good at long sticking 2 gaps down; hits and dumps, has a lot of force when he tackles; used for line stunts often; good get off; will club an off balance linema; must fight holds by hitting a move; plays a bit high, have not seen him explode/upward bend; shown a flash of bending when he grabbed grass and got low on a rip; pretty twitchy, very raw, plays the game without thinking - just processes and goes</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1529766' first='Ryan' last='Clark'] 6'3" 180 DB Middletown North</td><td>Single high safety; stays in his backpedal and weaves when quarterback opens shoulder or looks; has. bit of a hard time turning tight angles/corners; long limbs make him more apt to disrupt pass attempts and clog the lanes; not a big fan of the angle of his drops; must stick to his backpedal and not freelance; will hit someone and wrap them well with a full head of steam; has a tendency to make a lot of big plays and plays on the ball</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1543887' first='Ryan' last='Moye'] 6'1" 180 QB Pingry</td><td>Looks comfortable in pocket, does not get antsy to run and move; can throw the ball nearly 60 yards downfield without much strain; puts deep ball in spot where his target can run under it and continue going; desire to see more weight transfer, rather than flip and rip, in lower half when throwing the ball; want to see him pin the ball to his body when he decies to take off and run, carries it kind of low and at his side; balls tend to be on target high a lot of the time; can throw against his body to a comeback route</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1547075' first='Ryan' last='Staton'] 5'11" 180 DB Oakcrest</td><td>Does not need an 11 minute highlight film; reads quarterbacks eyes well, jumps passes and gets good breaks; beneficiary of poor throws; balance must improve, hard cuts he must use the hand to support himself off of the ground; pins the ball at times, not all the time; played wr; physical, rallies, uses hands, sets force on bubble screens; tackles high, but wraps and keeps his feet going; must read his keys to fit the alley a bit better when single high, gets clipped at times; never saw him defending the deep pass</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1228385' first='Ryan' last='Stoehr'] 5'10" 165 QB Saint Augustine Prep</td><td>Manages to dance a lot, step up, stop, and get the ball off; always sort of looks like he is threatened when he throws; prone to the deep ball, can deliver a good one when he has time; a lot of the time he looks as though he is moving for his life; looks for the big play, not much short or intermediate; very hard to evaluate him, has to run for his life a lot of the time it seems</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='939358' first='Ryan' last='Walsh'] 6'0" 165 QB Hightstown</td><td>Can throw a flag 45 yards on the run to a spot where only his guy can make the play, beteween the defender and the boundary; adjust throwing angle when to his left, in the flat, and on the run; throw can be a bit high in the flat when he does not set his fet; has shown to go through progression from primary right to check down player; ball has some zip on it when he has time to set his feet; want to see him run lower when he is called to run</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1552333' first='Salvatore' last='Livoti'] 5'10" 175 WR Ramapo</td><td>Does not need a 10 minute highlight film; Can separate and has speed up the sideline; for sure has speed, can get behind cover 3; plays a bit far back when in the slot, can get closer to the line turns shoulders sutly to create space and separation; do not like how he slows his film down at times; want to see more dramatic hip sink on 90 intermediate routes; uses hands to receive the ball; very good field awareness, stays in bounds, toe taps, understands where sideline is; adjust to under thrown balls well; has not shown that he creates for himself in the open field, reliant on speed and angles to beat people</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1558128' first='Sam' last='Conetta'] 6'1" 190 LB Pope John</td><td>Breaks on ball well, comfortable in getting to his drops; faster linebacker; moves well in space; disciplined in coverage, plays to his scheme; reads reach well; communicates on defense, see him adjusting the front to motion; reads his keys effectively, can make plays in the backfield due to quick reads; tackling can improve a bit, inconsistent with it, but hsows flashes of great tackling - particularly with his pad level; really good in passing things off in coverage and playing team coverage defense</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1105237' first='Sayvien' last='Adams'] 5'11" 160 QB Rancocas Valley</td><td>Does not need an 11 minute highlight film; can throw a strike on a deep flag route; shifty runner who looks like he runs well, can weave in and out of danger and in traffic; good placement on deep ball rolling to his left; plants off front foot, not drive and weigh transfer; he is a twitchy mover it appears; has raw arm strength - completion about 40 yards over the middle with a defender right in his face, no room to get it off of his front foot; makes reads in midline option correctly, runs his trackn inside out; has enough to dart a slant in between zones near the goal line; mostly gets the ball to his guy in safe places or where they can run after it; runs with ball rocking, not pinned; really like his game, unsure of size translating to collegiate level</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1566415' first='Sean' last='O'Reilly'] LB Camden Catholic</td><td>Dramatic turns in his pass drop, coverage; can pressure the passer when spying; hips are not super quick, but get the job down; scrapes to the outside well; does a great job playing the pass near the goal line; capable of having stopping force tackles; not many tackles made for a loss = not sure he sees keys clearly enough to get down hill; have not seen him use hands to disengage with blockers</td></tr></tbody></table></figure>
