As a linebacker, you saw a standout player. His 1st 3 plays from his film are a strip sack, an interception, and a strip sack. In all 3 plays you saw him read, attack, and create a play. Those 3 plays showed his array of talent. He also does well reading his keys and attacking against the offense. As a slot receiver, he is excellent after the catch, as he can catch short passes and run for big plays. He played as an outside linebacker, edge, and safety. At each position, he made big plays. Also, at every position, he hustled all over the field. As an outside linebacker, he did a good job of reading and reacting to the play and making plays against the offense. As an edge defender, he fires off the ball and attacks the offense. Then, as a safety, he was like a demon all over the field, making plays. He shows good strength and drives defensive linemen off the ball. English also shows good athleticism by going out in front and pulling. On a pin-and-pull offensive play, he does a great job of getting out front and blocking. His ability to move is impressive. English recently picked up an offer from Ursinus College. His ability to play as a running back and a slot receiver is impressive. At both positions, he shows a good ability to make plays. At both positions, he can take handoffs and turn them into big plays. He also catches the ball well out of the backfield. His biggest trait that he has is this ability to make defenders miss. He has quickness and bursts that are hard to find. He can just make defenders miss. Then, when he gets into the open field, he has the speed to outrun defenders.
