With top tier speed and change of direction ability, Walston is a nightmare in the open field. He constantly makes the first defender miss and has the burst to pull away from second level defenders. What separates him from many backs is his pass catching ability, he creates mismatch problems coming out of the backfield and can be lined up all over the field. His vision and ability to quickly read cutback lanes make him a true homerun threat. Walston is a name you'll hear more of this summer as he climbs the 2A radar.     At 5'5, Lucero may not win the eye test on paper, but his game tape tells a different story. Lucero plays with explosive quickness, a fearless mindset, and top end speed that allows him to rip off explosive plays once he finds a crease. He's not afraid of contact either, frequently running through arm tackles and picking up chunk yardage. His balance and low center of gravity make him incredibly difficult to bring down. With vision that consistently puts him in the right lane and burst that separates him from defenders, Lucero is a rising 2A star who can't be overlooked by D2/D3 scouts. On offense, he is a bulldozer, lowering his shoulder and finishing through contact, but don't underestimate his agility. Chase's all around impact and motor make him one of 1A's top under the radar players to know. Adamic is the kind of running back coaches trust in short yardage and pressure situations. He's a downhill runner with good vision and footwork, able to patiently set up his blocks and hit the hole with authority. Adamic is a three down back as he brings value in the passing game, particularly as a pass protector, where he shows excellent awareness picking up blitzes. His physical style and attention to detail make him a back on the rise at the small school level. Adamic is the type of player who does the dirty work and keeps the offense on schedule, making him one to watch in 2026.     Howard may be listed as a quarterback, but make no mistake, his game is built on his ability to run. A true dual-threat, Howard is a dynamic athlete who can slice through defenses with his speed and vision. Once he reaches the second level, he's a legitimate homerun threat. Howard reads running lanes quickly and wastes no motion getting north and south. His explosiveness adds a major wrinkle to his team's offensive scheme, forcing defenses to prepare for a quarterback who runs like a top tier running back. As a rusher in the 2A ranks, Howard is a name that needs more attention this summer.
