Playing as a wide receiver, he shows excellent skills. His ability to catch contested balls thrown in his direction is excellent. He has good body control and always seems to catch passes when defenders are in close coverage. He also has good hands and shows nice speed. As a defensive back, he did a nice job of covering receivers. As a quarterback, he showed a good ability to throw with anticipation. He knows where he wants to throw the ball and delivers a good football. He also shows a good ability to throw on the run. His high school team ran a ton of bootlegs and sprint outs, and Martin showed a good ability to throw on the run and complete these passes. Then, as a defensive back, he shows good coverage ability and to make tackles in the open field. His film is littered with him scoring long touchdowns. In the run game, he also shows good patience as he waits for the hole to open, and then he explodes through it. He then has the speed to run past helpless defenders in the open field. The other part of his game that is excellent is his receiving ability. He catches the ball. He can have the ball thrown to him out of the backfield or when he is lined up as a slot receiver. Where Moyer excels, though, is as a pass blocker. He moves his feet well to stay in front of edge defenders. As an outside linebacker, he has excellent fundamentals. He does a good job of reading the play and coming up-field to make plays in or near the line of scrimmage against the offense. Then, as an offensive player, he showed good skills as a running back. He shows good vision as he hits the hole and makes defenders miss. Then he is a weapon in the passing game, where Camp Hill threw him the ball in space, and he made defenders miss.
