2026 MD Rankings Update: Must See New Additions – Part 1

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Withe the recent new MD/DC/DE updated 2026 rankings coming out going into the season, I take a look at some prospects making their first appearance on the Prep Redzone Rankings. He comes in as a top 100 player at #71 overall and the #6 overall Edge defender in a strong edge class.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">A track kid who is still new to the game, Byran certainly passes the eye ball test. Measuring 6'5" 220lbs with a 82" wingspan, and over 33" arms, he is a great body kid with long lean muscled frame that will continue to fill out nicely. His track background translates as well, as a high jumper &amp; triple jumper for MSJ - Bryan runs a verified 4.69 40 and has broad jumped 10'0". A fluid athlete who shows quick feet and good twitch in his hips, you can tell Bryan is a natural athlete.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I spoked with multiple college coaches this spring that love his size &amp; athleticism going forward and just want to see some more film on him. He currently holds 3 FCS offers from Albany, Monmouth and Rhode Island. If Bryan plays up to his potential on the field I won't be shocked at all if some FBS offers &amp; even Power 4 offers come his way. Bryan has a high ceiling as a prospect and in these rankings. He is a versatile DB who can play in multiple spots and did so for SJC. He can play out wide as lockdown man CB, in the slot as a nickel or in the box near the LOS. Julian plays with good instincts and ball skills and is a very strong &amp; effective tackler. Coaches love a DB who will come downhill and hit from multiple spots on the field and that adds to Julian's versatility. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Making a strong debut on the rankings as a top 100 players and #25 overall DB in what is a loaded DB group in the 2026 class. A verified 6'4" 327lbs. from the National Preps Spring Showcase, he has next level OL size. I got eyes on Kasier twice this past spring and feel he is a under recruited player that with strong senior film will have schools reaching out with offers. He plays with good physicality and nice power at POA. With a good punch, Kasier drives and finishes blocks. Nice athlete for his size, he can move his feet, shows a good kick step, &amp; can get going down field looking for a defender to crush. With his size, athleticism and high academics (holding a 3.9 GPA/4.4 WGPA) I don't know how he doesn't have any offers yet. I saw Will recently and he showed extremely well which lead to his strong showing in the rankings. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Here is a short exert about Will from that previous article: "Playing both TE &amp; OLB, Will makes impact plays on both sides of the ball. As a TE, he can be inline or flex out as a big slot. He works up the seam well and uses his size to his advantage making him a good redzone option as well. A more than capable blocker as well from TE spot, he plays with good leverage and drive. At OLB, Will can play coming off the edge or off ball. Athletic enough to play in space/coverage and strong enough to take on blockers and hold the edge." </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Will has the size, frame, athleticism to be an FCS level player in my mind. He can put out a nice smooth deep ball that gets up and down with pace, as well as getting nice zip on his short-intermediate throws. With strong throwing mechanics and athletic enough to throw on the run with accuracy, Rory is a complete QB. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>He recently picked up his first offer from Wagner, and more will be on the way for the rest of the year. He comes in as a top #200 prospect and a Top 20 Edge defender.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I was able to see Daniel a few times this spring and he is a verified 6'5" 226lbs with a 9'3" SBJ from the National Preps Showcase to go along with a verified 80" wingspan and 10" hands. With those numbers he has the size, length, frame coveted in today's game for his position. Daniel is a fluid athlete who plays on his toes, shows good hips with the ability to re-direct, hold the edge &amp; play contain. He runs to the ball and has a nice motor. As a rusher Daniel has nice burst of the snap with active hands and adding more &amp; more moves to his pass rush skill set.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Like Kaiser Seward, Daniel has a lot of potential and room to improve under new Milford HC &amp; former Del St. HC - Ron Milstead who know's how to develop college level talent.
