A collection of talent from across the country showed out on Day One in Houston, with several defensive linemen positioning themselves to compete for MVP honors on Day Two.

[player_tooltip player_id='1689386' first='Jacob' last='Lopez']-Veasey – DL – Class of 2026

Cornerstone Christian School (San Antonio, TX) – 6'5” 240 lbs

Lopez-Veasey impressed with his elite frame, explosive get-off, and strong technical foundation. His length and bend were evident as he won multiple 1v1 reps, combining a stiff punch with fluid movement in drills. Already holding a UTSA offer, he continues to raise his stock.

Cam Toomey – DL – Class of 2028

Saratoga Springs HS (NY) – 6'3” 245 lbs

Toomey is a rising star with a high upside. The young prospect displayed a quick first step, excellent lateral quickness, and fluid movement during drills. With his length and athleticism, Toomey's future is bright.

Tanielu Ma'afala-Barbasa – DL – Class of 2026

Arbor View HS (Las Vegas, NV) – 6'2” 245 lbs

A technically sound pass rusher with a deep bag of moves, Ma'afala-Barbasa consistently won reps in 1v1s. He's explosive off the edge, showcases good bend, and uses his length and power effectively. He currently holds offers from UNLV, Sacramento State, Air Force, New Mexico State, and Central Michigan.

D'Juan Morrison – DL – Class of 2026

Staley HS (MO) – 6'2” 310 lbs

Morrison was a force on Day One. A powerful interior presence with violent hands and a devastating spin move, he combined strength with nimble feet and quick change-of-direction to win reps against the o-line. His dominance during 1v1s made him one of the most disruptive linemen on the field.

Sidney Catlett III – EDGE/LB – Class of 2026

Calvin Coolidge HS (DC) – 6'0” 196 lbs

Catlett is explosive off the edge and plays with relentless energy. He bends well, delivers a heavy punch at contact, and closes fast. His high motor and elite burst give him a real shot at MVP contention on Day Two.

[player_tooltip player_id='1566797' first='Bryce' last='Jackson'] – DL – Class of 2027

Barbers Hill HS (TX) – 6'0” 300 lbs

Jackson was a standout with elite quickness and disruptive power at engagement. His violent hands and standout spin move helped him dominate during 1v1s. Anchoring Barbers Hill's 3-4 defense, Jackson posted 73 tackles, 25 TFLs, and 5 sacks last season. He holds offers from Colorado State and UTSA.

Ryan Deakins – EDGE – Class of 2026

Tolton Catholic HS (MO) – 6'5” 240 lbs

Deakins checks all the boxes physically and showed he can back it up with skill. He uses his length to control blockers, bends well off the edge, and flashed balance and agility during footwork drills. A multi-sport athlete, he excels on the basketball court and on the mound as a standout left handed pitcher and outfielder. Deakins recorded 54 tackles and 14 TFLs in his junior year. He should see his offer sheet expand during camp season. NW Missouri and Missouri Southern have both extended offers Deakins way.
