The 2025 West Virginia Combine Series camp took place at the beautiful indoor Highlands Sports Complex in Triadelphia, WV, on Saturday, with over 75 WV prospects competing and learning from college coaches across the state and region. Here is our evaluation of every receiver in attendance at the camp!

We proclaimed former Wheeling Park standout WR Kolin Wiley as the top route runner in the 2026 class during our Perfect Player Build series, and he displayed that trait during Saturday's camp. Wiley has high-level separation ability with length and athleticism, which aids him in that regard. He was virtually unstoppable during 1-on-1s against some talented defensive backs in attendance and came away with our WR MVP award after his dominant showing.

Huntington's [player_tooltip player_id='1599383' first='Deuce' last='Olden II'] is primed for a breakout season this fall for the Highlanders after having to sit out most of the 2024 season after transferring in from Miami, FL. Olden is an impressive athlete to watch in person, with a well-developed build and high-level athleticism. He's an explosive athlete with D1 speed and quickness and proved that when creating consistent separation throughout 1-on-1s. Olden was right in the mix for WR MVP and should put up some big numbers this fall.

He is physically impressive with an imposing build and size that had him towering over the defensive backs in attendance. Hernandez also has impressive athleticism for his size and moves fluidly for a receiver of his build. Fennell is light on his feet and is a fluid runner who can change direction and cut easily. His varsity opportunities will come in time once he adds some weight to his frame, but the athleticism is there for him to build on over the next two years to develop into a contributor for the state champion Bulldogs.

A highly regarded prospect out of Pennsylvania who made his way to the WV Combine Series this past weekend and did some good things was 2027 Gateway (PA) WR/DB Julian Dancear. He ranks as a Top 400 WR right now as the #35 WR, and you could see why our PA ranker thinks so highly of him. Dancear is a quality two-way player who can give great reps on both sides of the ball and has a bright future at both positions.
A young 2028 receiver out of Parkersburg to know for the future is [player_tooltip player_id='1077100' first='Brady' last='Thorn']. He was very productive as a freshman for the Big Reds with a ton of potential and athleticism to utilize over the next three years. Thorn has long arms and big hands for his size and age, which will greatly benefit him as a pass catcher. His current frame will give him the versatility to play inside and outside, with a frame to develop into a physically imposing receiver. Warden is bouncing back from an injury that caused him to miss his freshman season and is easing back into football activities during his recovery. Physically, Warden is impressively built for an athlete wrapping up his first year of high school, and the extra time spent in the weight room is paying off.
2028 Parkersburg South prospect Jonathan Kaufman has upside at a few different positions but worked out as a receiver at Saturday's Combine Series. He's built well for a freshman and flashed some good things as a linebacker for the Patriots' freshman team last season but proved he also has some playmaking ability as a pass catcher at the camp. Kaufman does a nice job tracking the ball and looking it in with reliable hands. If he can become more fluid and flexible in his athleticism, Kaufman can develop further as a receiver with a lot of potential as a linebacker to fall back on as well.
