As a tight end, he is excellent at running routes and making plays after the catch. His ability to break tackles and gain extra yards is impressive. He also has good speed and can run by defenders. He also does a nice job of blocking. His ability to move around, offensive formation, and block is impressive. Then, as an edge defender, his ability to make plays in the backfield is excellent. He has these long arms and can knock down passes with ease. His ability to read and react to the play and then make plays against the offense is excellent. Then, Eggerton has good ball skills, and he can get his hands on the ball when it is thrown his way. He is a good sideline-to-sideline linebacker, meaning he chases plays well all over the field. He was used in the run game and the pass game. His ability to make defenders miss in space is special. He has a quickness and burst you rarely see in High School Athletes. He is good at catching short passes, where he is excellent after the catch in making defenders miss. He also shows a good ability as a runner, where he is used on jet sweeps and runs the ball well. He also runs routes well and creates separation well. He shows good strength, as he can block and control defense players at a high level.
