West Texas Offensive Weapons with Massive Upside for 2025

West Texas is often near the backend of the state's regions mentioned for their football talent. However, don't get it twisted - there's no shortage of hidden gems out west. While big, gritty trenchers may come to mind first out of the desert, there are plenty of dynamic skill-position athletes flying around in the West Texas sun.    Singleton is a versatile, gadget-type player for the Husky offense, as he constantly flexes between the line of scrimmage and the backfield. Not only does he play WR and RB, but Daveon also takes snaps as the signal-caller. He is truly explosive with loose hips and great make-you-miss ability. His change of direction and ability to put his foot in the ground and accelerate out of cuts make him a monster after the catch. While he did excel on defense with 55 tackles and 9 INTs, his offensive film is also stellar, accumulating over one thousand yards and 12 touchdowns. Kane plays with a high motor and flies around the field on both sides of the ball. KWT's most impressive offensive traits are his contested catch ability and change of direction. Expect him to continue to come into his own in 2025 and build upon his offers, which already include Navy, UTSA, and Air Force.      Ross is explosive as they come with great athleticism and 10.5 100m speed. Used in both the slot and the back field, he terrorizes defenses with his twitchiness and overall speed. Though not the largest frame, Ross also displays great contested catch ability. Additionally, he is a major weapon for Estacado in the return game thanks to his contact balance and acceleration. Another giant season should be in store for Ross in 2025, as he weighs out a top 6 of New Mexico, Colorado State, UTEP, Texas Tech, Air Force, and Arizona.      Fulton serves the role of a dual-threat QB for Tascosa and provides immense value both through the air and on the ground. Coltyn showcases great touch on deep balls thrown, which helped pile up over 750 yards and 10 touchdowns passing. On the ground, Coltyn totes the rock and breaks tackles as a power back with solid balance and agility, resulting in over 1,100 rushing yards and 14 more touchdowns in 2024. Fulton's name and recruitment should skyrocket during his senior season thanks to his abilities and production.      Rojas is another athlete who primarily lined up at QB in 2024 with massive production as a dual threat. While he will likely be recruited as a WR, that did not stop the rising junior from compiling nearly 3,000 total yards and 50 total touchdowns in 2024. His remarkable season included a 371-yard rushing game. Rojas carries the ball with good speed, great instincts, and the break-tackle ability to finish runs past the second level. With an offer from UTEP already, expect another historic season from Carlos and his recruitment to take off in 2025.
