Singleton is an electrifying athlete on the offensive side of the ball, demolishing defenses with his legs. Daveon is such an all-around football talent that he even led the Huskies to a win totaling over 400 yards of offense at quarterback last week. The majority of Singleton’s workload this season, however, has come out of the backfield at the running back position. The versatile star excels at running behind his pads and shifting in and out of running lanes with controlled lateral cuts and elite quickness. Daveon has totaled over 900 total yards and 10 TDs thus far. After the UTEP commit did everything in his power to get the Huskies’ season back on track last week, he will be leaned on heavily down the stretch.

Singleton is a versatile, gadget-type player for the Husky offense, as he constantly flexes between the line of scrimmage and the backfield. Not only does he play WR and RB, but Daveon also takes snaps as the signal-caller. He is truly explosive with loose hips and great make-you-miss ability. His change of direction and ability to put his foot in the ground and accelerate out of cuts make him a monster after the catch. After nearly 1,600 yards and 18 touchdowns in 2024, expect the UTEP commit’s production and recruitment to ramp up this year.
